Edit: Awesome yoyo
1st i couldn't get this thing to respond, so i put in a return. i drive 20 miles to return and haven't made it yet. after buying a Duncan butterfly and playing with that for a few days. I decided to bust this magic k1 out one more time . This thing rips. Best yoyo ive ever had. I started with tryin to learn binds, i got a few. Then i double looped it . Its responsive after x2 loop. I understand there is a slight curve to get started with this yoyo. There is also, i believe a lot of yoyo to develop skills. If you have trouble get on YT.

Good value
I purchased this yoyo for my 7-year-old son, and overall, we're pretty happy with it. The yoyo spins very smoothly and easily, which is great for practicing tricks. However, since my son is still young, he found it a bit challenging to get started—initially, it was quite hard to get the string wrapped properly, and he even managed to get a knot in the string at one point. That said, I really appreciated that the package came with extra strings, making it easy to replace when needed. While it may be a bit tricky for a younger beginner, especially at first, I think it's a good value for the price. My son enjoys trying to learn with it, and with a little patience, I believe he'll get the hang of it. Overall, a solid choice for a beginner yoyo and a fun toy for kids interested in learning tricks.

This is a very good beginners yoyo!
After watching the reviews on Youtube about the K1 Magicyoyo, I decided to try it. I found it is a very good beginners yoyo. I removed the responsive bearing and installed the unresponsive bearing so I could learn more tricks. The tutorials on Youtube make it look easy but it is harder than it looks. There are so many small details that have to be done correctly. I found out that using a longer string makes it easier, I had been cutting the string too short and it was impossible to do any tricks correctly. I have just learned how to do a bind, and once I get good at it I will move on to more complex tricks. I am very pleased with this yoyo and have bought several more of them.

My MagicYoyo #4
I'm a 64 year old woman. I have young onset Parkinsons for 20 years. I learned to yoyo a couple of years ago. I use yoyo's to improve my hand-eye coordination. I don't do tricks.I own two K2 yo-yo's and I've recently bought my first metal yo-yo, a K10. The hubs intrigued me.Like the other MagicYoyo's, it's well-made and balanced. It has a different feel when I use it compared to the K2's and the K10. I use it daily along with the others that I own

so-so
Lately it seems amazon has been inundated with poor quality imports. A search for any common item usually yields a slew of products from no-name brands at rock-bottom prices and having "questionable" workmanship, to put it politely. Despite my apprehension, this seemed to be one of the few glow-in-the-dark yoyos available. The sleep time is typical of a responsive yoyo, about a minute at best. Some thin lube helped a bit. It takes a strong light and some time to charge the glow effect, but it will glow pretty well. Unlike my older yoyos, the bearing is actually press-fit onto the shaft, so it might be tough to swap it out for a different bearing. The yoyo itself is very well balanced, and it's almost hard to tell how fast it's spinning. So far I haven't had my string get stuck between the bearing and the sides of the yoyo as others have, but I will update the review if I have any such problems.Update: I eventually got the bearing out, but using a different bearing the string would often get stuck. Works fine with the original bearing though. I've noticed that it's on the less-responsive side for a responsive yoyo, which I don't mind, but it might be difficult for some users. While it's about the same weight as my YYJ classic, it feels much lighter.

Good beginner yoyo
Bought this for my son, he loves it. He was able to pick up a lot of tricks on it very quickly. Eventually, he wanted to move to non-responsive. Doing to was a simple bearing replacement, it took all of 30 seconds. The strings don't last forever, he goes through one a week or so just using it casually to fidget with. As he gets more experienced, though, they last longer and he doesn't get them twisted and frayed as quickly. If you're looking for a cheap way to see if this is a hobby you or your kids are interested in, this is a perfect one to start with.
