This is the smallest packaging we have. It lasts for up to a year in the refrigerator, so you can make many kinds of cheese for over a year. :)

Q: What is the main difference between Rennet and starter culture for cheese , and which one should we choose among these 2 product of yours?

To make any cheese, both rennet and culture are required. The rennet coagulate the milk. The culture contains different strains of bacteria that lowers the pH of milk and imparts the flavor to the cheese. The rennet remains same for all types of cheeses, the culture differs. Q: is this 100% plant based or microbial like yeast etc

It is extracted from a yeast called Kluyveromyces L.

Q: Isn't it same as white vinegar, because vinegar can also be used to make cheese Is Rennet different from vinegar?

Hello. The white vinegar is merely a 5% solution of acetic acid. It can be used along with the rennet to lower the pH of milk (we still do not recommend using vinegar). But merely vinegar can not make cheese. We are talking about the real cheesemaking. The rennet is an enzyme that is used to form curds and helps to separate the milk solids and whey. Our is a vegetarian version. You can make a simple quick real mozzarella using citric acid+rennet as shown in the video attached to the product images displayed on Amazon. I hope it helps you. Some cheese that I’ve made from over 50

Wow!!! Posh has really made my day cheese making journey so enjoyable. They have almost everything that one needs for cheese making . All their cheese kits , cultures moulds , thermometers etc. Plus they give all their cheese kits recipes which are so easy to follow. And it gets better.
