Lots of up to date ideas
I'm one of those silly people that gets seduced by magazines showing interior and garden design, but at nearly £7 each per magazine I've decided to buy books instead which are much better value and with no annoying advertising. This one is gorgeous with lots of garden design ideas. Just looking through it makes me feel calm!

Lovely book with inspiring ideas
I have to admit I bought this on a whim at the discounted price of £18.75 and may not have done so at the £25 full price. But I'm really glad I did buy it as it's lovely.Featuring lots of different real-life gardens, from urban to country, I particularly liked that it includes relatively small gardens that you can relate to. There are lots of ideas for styling seating areas at limited cost and in a sustainable way, and it's a good book to read in your garden, looking around and figuring out what you might do. And even if you don't do any of it, it's a relaxing browse of a book.I'd definitely buy this as a gift for someone, and I'd recommend it as an inspiration for your own home too.

Lovely pictures, doesn't quite hit the spot
I already have the homes for the soul book so I had high hopes. It has some lovely gardens but doesn't entirely hit the spot with me somehow. The gardens are all beautiful but a couple of them scream lots of money, rather than lots of heart and soul. That said, there are also a couple that l loved, such as the magical gathering garden and the perfectly imperfect one.I do like the book, just not quite as much as I hoped.

Gorgeous and inspiring
This book is a beauty - full of inspiring images and an eclectic, laid back view of how a garden might look. The focus is on relaxed living and creating a nurturing outside space rather than horticultural perfection. I've already bought it as a gift for two friends.
