Great for laser engraving
Bought these to use was mine laser engraving business. They work perfectly and the dimensions are pretty accurate. Remotes randomly changed to a different design but didn't cause any issues.

Nice Light--Holds 3" or 4" Acrylic Discs
Very nice small light base that can be battery operated or plugged in. The only thing I don't like is the short cord.

Base of popular trophies
I used these bases to light up some trophies I etched (on a Glowforge) for an annual kayak race in my part of the country. All of the bases worked as you can see in may attached pic. The recipients were all very happy to receive their trophies. Some have even posted videos on the Web about them. Too bad I can't include the links here.I did print a label for each trophy that stated: "Caution, remove batteries before using external power source" based on a review I'd read here that I believed about a problem with these bases trying to charge whatever batteries you had in the base if you plugged in an external power source. I did not confirm this was actually a problem, but acted in an abundance of caution.
