Time of day light mimic is great
Love them. The transitions of the day cycle are great. Turned them on once and set them to the closest time of day and I’ve never touched them since. My plants, specifically my floaters, duplicate crazy. I would suggest not having an overgrowth of floaters since the tend to block out the light for the lower planted plants.

don’t over-tighten the screws
make sure to keep the screws loose-ish as an even slightly over-tightening them will leave permanent marks on the tanks. Very energy efficient though on 24/7 day cycle mode.

The media could not be loaded. While the delivery was poor (the driver just threw my package out the truck on the driveway, damaging the slide track), the item itself is incredible. It provides a fluctuating lighthouse that mimics outside lighting quite well.Seasmoke has since gotten his colors more vibrant, and shows more energy now that his light source is constantly reoccurring daily. I had a perfectly good working Aqueon light (no color lights, just standard bright) and contemplated for a long time if I should make what I thought would be a subtle switch I wouldn't notice. This item is a must for Bettas owners. It keeps them on a routine, they know when it's time to relax, and the lighting it so soft in the morning and night, it didn't disorient your fish in the slightest.

Great light
I’m very happy with this aquarium light. I bought it to illuminate my 29 gallon tank. It’s perfect with my glass hood. I love it!

Unexpectedly used light delivered
Unexpectedly ended up with a used item!?! It just arrived and I just unboxed it to find the light covered with water spots. The cord looks like it was just tossed in the box without the usual wire ties.
