A Must-Have for Bread Machine Owners – Simple, Delicious, and Truly No-Fuss!
I recently purchased The No-Fuss Bread Machine Cookbook, and it has completely transformed the way I use my bread machine. This book is a game-changer for anyone who loves fresh homemade bread but doesn’t want to spend hours in the kitchen. As promised, the recipes are straightforward, and the convenience of just tossing everything into the bread machine and letting it do its thing is a lifesaver! The variety of recipes is fantastic. From savory vegetable breads to cheese breads, herb-infused loaves, and even fruit breads, this cookbook has something for everyone. I love that I don’t have to hunt for specialty ingredients—everything is easy to find at my local grocery store. Plus, there’s no need for added gluten or hard-to-find flours, which is a huge plus for me. The recipes work perfectly with my 2-pound bread machine, and I’ve already made several delicious loaves with minimal effort. One of my favorite features of this book is the troubleshooting section. It’s incredibly helpful in addressing common problems like sunken tops or gummy texture, so even when I’m experimenting with new flavors, I know I can fix any issues and still enjoy great results. If you’re new to using a bread machine or just want to expand your recipe collection, The No-Fuss Bread Machine Cookbook is perfect. It makes bread-making truly hands-off, with delicious, reliable results every time. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to make homemade bread without all the fuss!

Not what I expected
Update: I had to add a star. I made the sunflower seed bread yesterday and it came out deliciious. I did sub buttermilk powder for the nf milk powder (because I didn't have any) and sub 1 Tbsp gluten for part of the flour because I just do that. I believe it gives me a better loaf, but it probably isn't necessary, especially if you are using bread flour.I also like that this book offers the choice of a 1 lb loaf for all recipes. All of the rest that I said in my original review holds true. But there is a place for this book and at least some of the recipes within.I do wish that weights had been included along with cup measurements. But most cookbooks don't. :(Previous review: If I had paid more than $5 for this book I would return it. If you are very new to bread making, or if you only want convenience from your bread machine, this book may be helpful. I am hard put to find a single recipe that I am motivated to try. Onion bread is made with onion flakes. Pineapple banana sounded good until I realized that there was a whole cup of sugar added. Lots of use of garlic powder instead of real garlic. Lots of candied fruit in the holiday breads. Yuk. And lots of bread with coffee granules. I love coffee, but I don't think I want it in my bread. And then there are a whole bunch of just funky recipes like "Pretty Borscht Bread". Another one I'm not even tempted by.I bought this book because I love bread. I even love making bread. But even retired I don't have an entire day to devote to a loaf of bread. So I use my bread machine. And I'm willing to take a few extra minutes to chop the onion to get a superior loaf of bread. I'm sure the recipes in this book are edible (and certainly easy) but I want more.

The bread tastes wonderful and the recipies are easy to follow
I purchased this along with a new bread machine. I have tried several recipes and my wife and I have been amazed at every one of them. I used to rely on bread mixes because they are quick and easy. One reason that I switched from using mixes was the cost. A box of bread mix could cost $9+ and the shipping for 1 to 3 boxes could be $9+. If you are pressed for time, the prepared mixes are very good . While it does take me longer to prepare the recipe, I find it fun and not too time consuming. The book claims 10 minutes to prepare. I haven't timed my preparation time as I have what ever time it takes me and the results are well worth the time it takes. My point is , don't expect the recipe to always be ready in exactly 10 minutes. It may take 15 minutes or longer to prepare everything I have always been afraid to try anything other than a basic white or wheat recipe for bread because I was thought that I would mess it up. With the results from this book, even if I don't think the bread turned out perfectly, I want to try the recipe again. Normally, if something doesn't turn out right, I may shelve it to possibly try at a later time, then move on to something else. My problem now is that I want to make the breads again that I have already tried and make new recipes. There are just so many loaves of bread that we can enjoy at one time! I do keep some of the loaves in the refrigerator, but even they are gone within a week. Right now I am in a quandary, do I make a recipe that we enjoyed or do I try something new?We have tried a basic white bread, a cinnamon raisin bread, zucchini pecan bread, oatmeal bread and peanut butter bread. The peanut butter bread really good with a little jelly (or jam or preserves) spread on it. If you have a bread machine and are at all interested in enjoying different breads, you should add this cookbook to your library.
