Expensive, but worth it!
It's a great tool! It was obviously engineered to do just what edger should -- be light, sharp as the devil, and easy to use. I have retired my old and heavy edging shovel.

Small and Mighty
This shovel is small and extremely durable. Worked great to help plant shrubs and get thru roots and hard soil. Just be aware that it’s better for digging/loosening, so bring a normal shovel to remove the loose soil.

Easy to use and cheap compared to a mechanical unit or rental.
Im 73 so I wanted an easy way to shallow trench wire out to a sunny patch in my back yard without renting a trenching machine. I found this tool to be easy to use and invaluable to me to get the job done on my solar projects. I intend to add some other panels and burying the wires is essential. This works well.

Great Tool for Trenching
Works as advertised. Great for digging a trench. Went in from an angle on both sides then removed the section. Put what I was burying then put the chunk back in. Looks like there was no digging done. Do have to shave some of the dirt off the bottom so whatever you buried is hidden and the chunk of dirt and grass lays flat. Nice tool.
