Powerful, budget, reliable.
I've purchased from Bilt Hard before, it was a 24 inch drum fan that performed well for what it is.Eventually I gave it away to a neighbor and decided to get a replacement for the fan I'd had before the drum fan, a lasko 20 inch metal fan, and wanted to be sure it could match the power and maybe sound I remember from the lasko. At first I tried to get the same or a similar model from lasko at home depot but the image advertised did not match the model number and little did I know I'd got a weaker powered model.I returned it and remembered browsing high cfm fans and had to note the difference between cfm and velocity as this kind of fan is meant to blow hard in a shorter space rather than move a lot of air like a drum fan.Long story short, I got this fan, it did not disappoint me unlike the would be lasko replacement, it blows hard, at or harder than I remember my original metal lasko fan to blow, and as the much needed bonus for white noise it's quite loud but not obnoxiously loud for those who might find that annoying, just right for it's power. No squeaking, knocking, or otherwise weird artifacts or faults of design or assembly thus far after a few weeks with it, it does its job well. The ("sale"?) at 55ish dollars was nice, and originally I'd thought about taking up the two for one deal at around 100 dollars, but I decided not right now, but soon I'll gladly get the same model to double up at opposite ends of the house.I would generally recommend Bilt Hard as a budget friendly yet reliably working brand.

Heavy Duty Fan w HIGH VELOCITY!
Great fan! Well made & sturdy. Will not be easily tipped over b/c of the way it’s “foot”/base is designed. Now for noise: don’t expect a quiet fan. I’ve never seen/heard a quiet high velocity fan. I leave on low speed all the time. It gets louder with speed increases. The sound is soothing to me. Kind of a hum. The MOST IMPORTANT FACT: it circulates a whole lot of air. Keeps my upstairs cool.

Packs a great punch on this industrial fan.
I love this fan as far as Industrial fans this one has the perfect noise level. It is not super loud or disturbing. The weight is very light weight but packs a great punch while operating. It is cheaper to use than my central air. I own 2 of these fans and would advice others if they are looking for a great value fan...this is it. I love that this fan is versatile and can either stand on the floor or hang on a wall. The pivot option is also great and it will cool a large room. Get yours before they are gone.

Very strong fan
This fan works great for us. It’s very strong! We live in south Alabama where it’s very hot and humid. We use the fan under the patio where we like to chill and grill. It keeps us from overheating, makes spending time on the patio enjoyable, and keeps the flies and mosquitoes away.

A Solid Built Fan with Powerful Motor
This fan is well built with all steel parts and provides excellent airflow, on all three speeds. The metal blades will last a long time and the fan motor is robust and powerful. As the fan has a high CFM it will move a lot of air and this will cool off a large area quickly, however the fan does move air at high velocity which also means a bit of noise. Cooling is excellent however.

Do it be fannin'? IT DO.
I'm essentially a polar bear; lots a flubber and I love fridgid temps. My perfect sleep ambient temp is at or below 60. So as a renter in an apartment with no central AC, an old landlady that only turns the heat off June, July, and August, and a written rule in my lease that prohibits window AC units, I consider myself a fan afficinado. I'm also cheap. For the last week, I've been waking up covered in sweat. So, I decide it's time to pick up a box fan because my current one is nearing the end of its life. It had a good run, got about two years out of it but it's just not pushing air like it used to. No big. It was 20 bucks. I'm making more now. Maybe I'll buy two.To my digusted HORROR, they've nearly doubled in price. Lasko box fans $40?! I left walmart clutching my pearls. Head to amazon because I know that there's gotta be a $20 Basics box fan, right? RIGHT?? NOPE. $30 dollars. At this point, I'm livid. I work in a shop and am familiar with heavy-duty fans. Summer work in a shop is a sweaty business. I find this fan and it looks a lot like the one we have in our shop to sit on the floor and blow at our legs. Double that with a standing fan and you got yourself a wind tunnel that also works to keep bugs away from you when that one coworker insists on having the bay doors open "for the breeze" that doesn't exist. I digress.I do the math. I know what to expect as far as velocity with a fan like this, so couple that with the fact that I'm just spiteful at this point, I could justify the extra $10-$20. So I buy it.Putting it together was slightly aggrivating. It comes in two pieces, the fan and the little support bar to let it sit on the floor or whatever. I snap that piece into place and go to remove the plastic only to find they've put the plastic on and then screwed in the rubber nubs, essentially screwing the plastic onto the bar. I could've just ripped the plastic off but I'm not a savage animal, so I removed the nubs and then took off the plastic, replaced the nubs. Annoying but not a deal breaker. I did knock off one star on assembly for that because why.Sturdiness, well the metal supports are hollow, and I feel like if I wanted to bend them, I probably could, if not altogether snap them in half. So I knocked a star off for that. But the whole thing is made of metal and me likey.Noise. Any fan user knows that the noise level raises with velocity; if you want a quiet fan, you're going to suffer on air flow. If you want air flow, you're gonna have to deal with noise. I would akin this fan's lowest setting to being as loud as a standard box fan on high if not *slightly* louder. I'm half deaf in one ear so take that with a grain of salt.As far as air flow/velocity/blowing power, twenty stars out of ten, considering this is only slightly more expensive than a standing fan or box fan. This baby is WORKING and I'm pleased as punch. I have it blowing on me right now. It's moderately warm in my room, 75ish, and I'm pleasently chilly on medium setting. As a hot sleeper, take it from me, you need this fan. Spend the money. This thing is probably going to live a long time and end up saving money in the long run. I wonder if they make smaller varients I can put in a window, get a good hurricane effect going in my bedroom....that would be lovely.

Blows a hardy amount of air
This product is simple to use, seems sturdy enough for my year old staffy and clumsy family. I like the design it is basically nostalgic and has the ease of being able to tilt up or down to change the direction of the air flow with little effort. The size of it is great for a larger room. It isn’t silent, but personally I like the grey noise when I am trying to sleep or home alone.

Great for the Price
Great flow and great price...Basically all put together, straight out of the box. The only thing to put together is the stand... Light in weight, and powerful in functionality... Also very cooling to the outside or inside air...
