Can I use the 2 3/4 Inch to fish from shore or it’ll dive too much and touch the sand (what I don’t want)?

I use this product while trolling for trout in California lakes and it will dive between 4-6 feet depending on speed of retrieval. If you're fishing from shore, you can slow the retrieve as you near the shoreline and can avoid hitting bottom or snagging. This lure works well for bass as I have caught them on it as well. Overall, an excellent product for my application!

Rod tip down and twitch the tip of the rod . Caught a lot of jacks

what size trible hooks come on the 2 inch size bait?

Hooks are very small and not very strong a good sized redfih will bend the trailing hook. I think they are a 12 or 14. I usualy replace the rear hook witha good carbor hook. the gold pea nut bunker is one of the best lure I have used.
