Our Hummingbirds love this stuff!

After putting up a hummingbird feeder and filling it with a store-bought liquid not a single hummingbird visited. Initially I thought it was because the 'flower' was white so I bought another one with a yellow 'flower' and filled it with the Audubon nectar. It did not take long before we had our first customer. Then I filled the other feeder with the Audubon mix. And before long there were ongoing high-pitched squeaks and the sound of tiny mini-drone activities buzzing around the feeders. They love it and clearly they are picky even though you would think that sugar solutions should be basically the same. Maybe the liquid I originally purchased had a plastic smell and taste? The only comment I have is that the Audubon sellers seem to be WAY overpriced on Amazon. According to their web site, you can buy a 3x3 oz box at the Vons for $3.50 so the prices here would appear to be at least twice that of a local supermarket.

We go through many packets of this food every year. In fact, if it gets low in the feeder, the hummers hover at the window to let us know it needs to be filled. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the price fluctuates a great deal. I have seen it very expensive and fairly cheap so I monitor it to get a reasonable cost. It mixes easily and does attract hummers every year.

Once I put up the feeder it took 3 days for the first hummingbird to arrive. After determining it held nectar, this little hummingbird has been feeding multiple times a day. I will need to order another because there are 3 hummingbirds attracted to its striking red container.The best part is how easy it is to clean. It was very easy to set up. I would buy this again.

We have tried numerous nectars, some clear, some colored, some liquid some powdered. Only this brings our friends in numerous times during the day into the evening.These are produced by Autobon so we don’t worry about the safety when feeding our friends.We highly recommend this product.

Not sure if this will be the proper strength for the hummingbirds.
