Older syringes have the exp. date inprinted on the round body of the syringe near where the handle enters the syringe. Is is encoded with a letter (batch identifier) and 3 digits, example: S127. Last digit stands for a year of expiration and the two digits after the letter is the exp. month. In the example provided the exp. date is December of 2017. NOTE: It is not 2007 as many think, the gel can not last 9 years in a syringe, it will be all dried out. Our (Green Dot Sales) current exp. date as of Feb. 2016 is 12-2017.
