Q: This work on 2005 x5 3.0?

I have a 2006 BMW X5 3.0 and it worked for mine without issues.

Q: Hi there. i have a 2004 x3 2.5. how do i know if i need part 9 or part 9a? i def need one of the transfer actuators. please let me know. thanks.

I would recommend using the part 9a because the transfer case motor 9 or 9a is the same but on 9a you’re getting the 2 wire sensor that bolts on top of the motor that is recommended to replace at the same time.

Q: Hello Does this come with carbon composite or plastic gear?

I can't say for sure. For the price I might want to believe it was the plastic gear but I have had no issue since installing it and the error light I was getting has cleared. I also believe I saw gear repair kits that can be used to rebuild this motor. When I removed the old one and inspected it, before disposing it, I noted that it would have been possible to open the unit to change the internals.

Awesome!!! It works grate , once plug in you must reset it . This works on a 2004 bmw x3 , make sure anyone who buying this product it's compatible , because it actually works . Original part cost 500 dollars to this 80 dollar one its awesome !!!

Fixed AWD on 2005 BMW X3

Successfully restored the AWD function in my BMW X3 2005 after installing myself. One small piece was broken, but I was able to swap out that piece from the old unit. Saved us the $3000-5000 the shop had quoted me to replace the whole transfer case!

Great and perfect fit.

Works great, just don't forget to code it to the car with a professional scanner once you finish replacing it so the 4x4 light goes off. I have a 2006 BMW x3 and its a perfect fit.
