Fishing Hat,Sun Cap with UPF 50+ Sun Protection and Neck Flap,for Man and Women

I was looking for a hat to wear to help shield me from the sun since my baseball cap wasn't really helping protect my ears or neck at the time. I eventually bought a full cover face mask to help protect my neck when i wore the cap but I still wanted a hat that would shield me more. That's when I stumbled upon this hat. Il start off with some pros first;- Shawl and face mask cover are easy to attach and detach- Hat feels lightweight- The mesh lining band on top helps keep you cool by letting in a breeze- The drawstring works easily to tighten and hold the wat in place for the most part- Cap part of the hat is bendable/foldable- Offers full protection from the sun- Size for me is perfect!- Foldable/compactable for easy storageCons;- If it's too windy, even with the drawstring it'll still try and fly off- Face mask isn't exactly as tight (not the word I'm looking for but can't figure out how to describe it) as I'd want it to be- Even the slightest amount of wind blows the face mask part up into your face. Which can be dangerous when walking, jogging, running, hiking etcAside from those few cons, which one of those cons can easily be fixed by not using the face mask part, this hat is perfect. In fact I use my own full face mask (YAKeNU brand boight off Amazon) in combination with this hat. I also put the hat over my ponytail and ears to help try and keep it more secure when it's overly windy since again, the drawstring can only help so much for that. So far I've been wearing it daily since I got it. And for $10, at the time of this review, I say it's definitely worth it!

I also appreciate that it folds down easily and fits in my tackle box or backpack without losing its shape.If I had to nitpick, I’d say the look leans more functional than stylish—you won’t win a fashion contest in this hat. But honestly, when you’re outdoors for hours, comfort and protection matter way more, and this hat excels in both.Bottom line: A light, practical, and effective hat that keeps the sun off and doesn’t weigh you down. Great value for anyone who spends time outdoors.

Foldable, the neck gaiter keeps the sun off. The mask is usable but not something I will likely not use.

This sun hat is perfect for outdoor activities! The wide brim, neck flap, and face cover offer full UV protection, and the breathable fabric keeps it cool and comfy. Lightweight, well-made, and stays in place even on windy days. A must-have for fishing, hiking, or beach days!

Nice lightweight hat. Keeps the sun off and is cool. The "black flies" in my area are terrible this time of year and I spray the back flap with bug spray rather than on my skin. It works. When they get really bad I wear the front flap to keep them off my face.

The positive:1- Fabric is good quality for an affordable price2- The mesh around the crown of the hat allows for heat dissipation and I am assuming it helps keeping the head cooler specially in really high temperatures like the ones we have in Miami in July and August.3- The neck flap is removable, which is very convenient if one doesn't want to use it at any given time.4- The additional face protection - also removable- is very convenient when doing landscaping for example.I gave 3 stars because it could be improved in a few aspects, so here it goes the negative:1- It comes in one size that doesn't fit all, it is NOT expandable. I have a small to normal size head for a woman and it feels tight, not uncomfortable for me but for someone with a bigger head, for a man, or even a woman with more hair, it won't fit. It should come in different sizes.2- to attach the flaps you need tiny fingers. The plastic things on the flaps go into tiny fabric hitches attached to the hat but it is quite difficult for someone with bigger fingers. My husband couldn't do it and even for me, me, it took a little bit of time. Not a deal breaker but it definitely could use some improvement.3- the face flap it is too small, actually uncomfortable in my nose. I am a woman with a smaller face, I imagine that a man wouldn't even be able to attach it to the other end. So, the idea of the face flap is great but the design is poor.4- The crown band bends down, I was expecting it to be solid as the picture.

Love these hats!!! My 13 year old does lawn care and these hats help keep the sun off him, keep him cool and keep the bugs off him. No bugs buzzing in his ears, nose, face. Its easy to adjust. Only complaint is that it would be nice if the face part had something to form around your nose. That would help hold it in place. Overall we love these hats. We have 2.
