Does not fix tailgate rattle.
I have oversized tires (33s) which I know are bit heavier than stock. Recently the tailgate has been making a very noticeable rattle when driving over bumps. I watched a few online videos about how to fix the issue. This item was recommended as a simple/quick fix, however, it did NOT fix the problem.My next attempt to fix the issue will be a new hinge setup.

OEM like replacement
After reading all the comments on these and for the low price figured to try it. Easy install and seems to work fine but not sure how well it works. I have a tailgate reinforced hinge kit but figured it could help keep things tight.
