Make life much easier!
It was a huge pain to get the nails trimmed for my 20lbs 2 years old Shiba Inu. Tried different types of clippers, nail grinder, and even the grooming hammock, but nothing really worked.Zen clipper is like a miracle. I started with a smaller size to let my dog get used to it, then changed to a bigger size to have the nail work done. No more bleeding and no more stress!

These adjustable nail clippers are fantastic.
I have two small dogs who have black nails. It's so much easier and faster to trim their nails now that I know I'm not going to hit the quick. I highly recommend!

Unique Design Allows for use with Unruly Cats
These clippers are great. The maximum width is brilliant and really does prevent the user from clipping the quick. I haven't had a single accident since using these. They are particularly useful when attempting to trim a large, unruly cat, which is in my case. This guy doesn't just make it difficult by trying to squirm away, he uses his full strength to pull away from you. That said, I have to literally sit on the guy (not full body weight of course) and manhandle each one of his paws. I feel like I'm going to sprain the poor guy's legs, yet I he gives me no choice. These clippers allow me to constrain him and not worry about where the exact cut will be. The guard does its job.The one small gripe I have is the way they physically cut, but it's the price you pay for precision. Although the pincers are similar to other cutters, there is physically less room for the blades to cut. Think of a guillotine that's dropped just a couple of inches, compared to a few feet. The momentum behind the blades is not there. To compensate, you need to aggressively clip each nail with some force. If you try to do it slowly, it may not clip all the way through and break the claw.

Let down
This product I had high hopes forthis product. I work in the veterinary field and thought I had never seen one of these before. iIf I liked it I was going to bring it to work and see how it held up. When I got it today I tried to use it on my cat it shredded the cat's nails then I tried to use it on my Labrador 88 lbs and it could not open wide enough to fit his nails appropriately. So I looked closer and They sent me the Jr (up to 25 lbs) instead of the precise (up to 100 lbs). I paid for the precise because I have large dogs and wanted the veriaty of sizes option.

Better than other clippers
Decided to get the Precise model for its adjustability. Is great since my cats back and front claws are different shape and thickness. Easy dial wheel can be adjusted while holding it and the indicators on both sides are helpful. Silent and smooth operation. Only issue I had was if claw had gotten too curved and long, maneuvering into opening was bit tricky; but I think that is part of my learning curve. Help holding my cats will make that easier. That I could do some while holding cat says a lot about the product.
