Knox is a new brand for me but so far, I'm impressed by the value to price ratio as well as build of their items...this is the perfect example. This single speaker stand has nothing fancy but is solid. While many brands make big claims on weight which later turn out to be hopelessly optimistic, Knox seems to go the other direction...if anything, they err on the side of caution.The base spread is about 3 ft which provides ample support to keep it from accidentally tipping...yes, it will fall if serious weight was put against it but shouldn't experience any issues on its own. Next is the hand cranked telescopic stand which is reinforced. This mechanical design has the proven test of time....while we all enjoy air soft products, this is built to last. Each ridge cranks into place and is then reinforced via a pin lock. The hand crank is smooth and folds up when not in use. Realistic height and weight ratio provide ensure safety, control and solid performance. I expect this to last a good long time. Built like a tank. Very pleased! I used these stands for the first time for a DJ gig on NYE, which provided me a quicker setup and tear down. I was very impressed by the material these stands are made of. I would recommend this for any mobile, or wedding DJ.

So we had a dancer knock over our old one, bent it, and the other we thought we left in another State. Seeking to UP grade, I bought these. They seemed to have good reviews, and I agree.The crank makes lifting the speakers easy enough for my 16 year old daughter to do. The measuring tape on it, makes it simple to match the height perfectly. Very thoughtful. Heavier duty construction than my other brand, and thus more solid. I also like the fold-away handle on the crank. Get those cranks out of the way! Cranky cranks!Seriously I love 'em. Would buy again, even though I found the lost speaker stand, and the bent one still works... sort of... at an angle. Recommend for NOT huge speakers. Ours are 12" woofers.

Package arrived and when I opened it, one of the 2 stands was damaged. Looks like it was not a new item, but a returned item sold as new! Going to try and get replaced or refunded.

I used this for my portable photo booth stand as it allows me to adjust height for different people heights. Super sturdy and the added weight makes it stable which I prefer.

There is nothing to dislike with these stands. They are durable, easy to use and securely hold a set of 15 inch speakers. These stands are a great buy.

I HAVE 4 OF THEM !

I ordered two different speaker stands to used with my Mackie HD1531s (which weigh about 96 pounds each). I was initially concerned that the speaker was too close to the weight limit (100 pounds) but after receiving this and another stand, this was the clear winner. This stand had a nice strong feel to it and the crank up mechanism is AWESOME for getting a near 100 pound speaker up into the air. I f I were to make ONE improvement it would be to add another foot to the height, for flexibility of placement, but all told, I am quite pleased. After testing this and another crank up stand that went to 10 ft, I chose to get 4 of these. The engineer who set them up preferred the gear mechanism to this model over the pulley and wire system of the other stand. We're taking them to their fist event next week and will update with pix and any additional feedback.
