Exciting adventure that kept me up late into the night
One of the rare few books of this genre that can balance an exciting story with intriguing and creative combat with quality, developing romances with a harem of distinctive and interesting women. I loved it. It's hard to find good quality as mentioned above but this is definitely one of the gems. Lots of praise for the author and I'm moving directly to the next book and look forward for the audiobook to come out to relive the adventure with great voice actors!

Great book 2
I know little about the cultivation genre but you don't need to in order to enjoy this series. It is just a great story, well written, with characters you care about, lots of action, strong characters, good world-building, honest romance, with just the right dash of humor. Now, on too book 3.

A great improvement from the first
I am now invested in the series pretty deeply. The second book improved a lot compared to the first with writing, scene & character building, and dialog. I had so many less questions at the end of this book compared to the first. Ends are being folded back in and tied up that make the continuity of the story well fitting and satisfying. Pretty much any gripe I had about the first book was solved in the second, I hope it means the writer got better and not that he got lucky. (No disrespect intended by that last bit)Anyway, great book. The characters progression is *chefs kiss* especially with both new additions but also with the existing cast. My favorite, probably like much others, was Quinn. I loved when they were in the dragons realm and the breaking down of walls, I really wish that there was one more chapter just devoted to their time over the week they were there; just him and her together. I feel like it would've been a very intriguing perspective into more of her background, not that she didn't already bare her soul to Isaac but little stories would've been great while he was protecting her. I am very eager to see how she will play into the group dynamic and change it. I also like the authors choice to have Narissa leave the cultivator life entirely. It shows a path that Steve wanted to take but decided against. Can't wait to read through book 3.

Love This Series!
I’m really enjoying this twist on cultivation from Bruce Sentar! I don’t read this genre much, but he does a great job with the visualization and exploring the potential of each ring a mage earns. I’m loving the characters, pacing, and world building!

A solid follow up
Mana Beast is an appropriate escalation of the first book that sets up more than enough room for future books to fill. It also handles the subject matter of willing consent with surprising maturity and clarity, which is always good to see.

What can I say, I'm a fan.
I seem to enjoy all of Bruce's work, and this is no exception. After reading the first three of this series, I moved on to other things until I recently discovered that he had finished it while I wasn't looking. 😀Great! Now I'm rereading it all in a single binge. The Bubba Likes it! Do Recommend!

It's a fun adventure
The plot is fine, the cultivation system is lacking details and I can't relate to any of the characters. It is a fun adventure like some of the series of the author, but lacking depth and emotional connection with me. So I try to enjoy the fun ride and one or two good harem scenes.
