This is the best badge reel I’ve ever had, and I’ve had lots of them! I tend to carry a lot of stuff in the little wallet-like pouch I keep attached to my badge, and all the other reels I’ve tried don’t hold the weight and end up hanging down all day. This one holds everything I have attached, and would hold a lot more too. It seems sturdy and well-made, although I do wish the black casing around the string wasn’t so big, or at least came in better colors.

I have to walk through multiple metal detectors throughout the day and try to limit how much I have to empty my pockets. While the carabiner is metal it is not enough to set off our metal detectors (your milage may vary depending on how sensitive they are set) so it's one less thing I have to take off.I had this for 2 years before it broke, and it broke because the retainer section got caught and tore the stitching. Wore it 5 days a week (minimum) and got it caught multiple times with no issues.

I needed something that would not cause the cord to retract as I carry my ID and business cards together, this worked great. Very sturdy. The only thing I did not like about it, is the overall length, wish it was a little shorter. Defiantly recommend this item.

It just arrived and after adding the ID badge it hangs awkwardly low. It seems well made the retractable cable seems fairly strong. The caribiner is plastic but seems sturdy enough for what it is. I just can't imagine this being practical for most people due to how low it hangs when clipped to a belt loop. I will be returning this.

These are strong and solid feeling. The retractor works great for my heavier badge holder. I have a pen, cards, money and keys on the badge and it retracts well by it self. Not a big fan of lanyards so I clip the carabiner to the left shoulder strap of my carhartt bibs and it works great. Nice product, will buy more for coworkers.

Has done what I asked it to do daily without fail for over a year now. I carry a minimumof five keys on it at any time. I have spent thousands of hours setting on these through my traveling job. It is a little bulky, but if the bulk is the real cost of this product it is absolutely deserving of my purchase.

Decent product. My only complaints are 1) the retractable part broke within a month. 2) the plastic part of the badge holder is a little brittle. But I am hard on stuff as is the nature of my job. I am a carpenter and work in secure facilities where I have to where my badge all the time, so it gets beat up. That said, it's a great product.

I had originally bought one for work about 7 months ago and the clip which secures the holder to the belt strap broke off. I work in a building where every door to gain access to requires a badge swipe so its safe to assume I'm using this virtually 50 times a day. The extension itself is at a good arms length, maybe alittle more. These bad boys are pretty solid and sturdy. I can't tell you how many times I sat down on my desk and my badge gets caught on the chairs and it also pulls the carabiner. I've bought 2 more since then and my only suggestion is hopefully KEY-BAK would add a small key-ring next to the Badge Holder.

Exactly what I was looking for! Light, small, well made and best of all MADE IN USA! It may cost more than the competition but worth it!! I even bought a few more different models for back up.
