Used these for about a year now on my home brew transfer pump. No issues, no complaints.I have several different tubes setup for when going from hot wort to the circulating pump to the fermenter.

It worked like I wanted

Very happy with these quick connections. I put them on my milwaukee 20v pump. If I would have payed attention I would have ordered the male threaded ends instead of female. But I just bought an adapter. They connect and disconnect easily and seal good! I like that they come with extra seals!

Works very well. Used for quick disconnects for maple syrup filtering equipment.

The media could not be loaded. My only complaint is that unlike a regular quick connect fitting I have to push the collar down onto the nipple for the two pieces to connect. It seems to find some resistance when trying to slide down over the nipple. Perhaps just need to break it in a little more...idk. Other than that quite pleased.

I bought a bunch of these and use them on my pump and brew kettle to transfer 220F wort. The O-rings in the picture are already mounted into the housing so there is no assembly. Barb is on the female end and the 1/2" NPT is on the male. Use plumbers tape to attach the NPT. I would however recommend using a little sanitary gel on the O-rings which will make operation smoother. They are a little stiff when you first start using them. You need two hands to operate. It's a challenge to attach using one hand - you need to pull up on the locking ring while pushing the assembly together to get it to lock into place. Once locked in - they are not going anywhere. The disconnects are robust and substantial in weight. They should last forever.
