Does the product define curls?

IDK my hair is 4c and has a very tight curl pattern so I don't even bother with trying to define it anymore. It is great for detangling though.

What size brush is this?

8" x 2 1/8 x 1 1/4 overall, brush portion is about 4"

is it good for long thick hair?

It's *amazing for long hair. I have knee length 2A hair, that is pulled straight by it's own length/weight. This is the only brush I've found after decades that detangles without yanking my hair out and doesn't give me a mess of static. It does wear out though. The bristles break off one by one from the work out. I like it enough that I'm here to buy it again.
