Cheap scales.

This is a nice little knife. I like that it is a linerlock. Not too sharp, but sharpens up nicely on a diamond stone.The reason this knife got 3 stars rather than 5 is the handle scales. Packace indicates "Imitation Scrimshaw". What it is looks to be a plastic material similar to a credit card in thickness. May must remove them altogether.
