Q: If you leave it plugged in, will it heat for more than one hour? I am looking for something to to keep food warm for longer than an hour.

It doesn't work that way. When the light turns green (or red, can't remember) it is fully heated. Once you unplug it, it will only stay hot for an hour. Plugging it in for longer won't change the outcome. You can, of course, just leave it plugged in the whole time you are using it and to will remain hot. I guess it just depends if you want it to be "cordless" on the table.

No, it does not radiate a lot of heat. It’s a warming tray and does just that. It works well for just what it’s intended. Looks very sleek too.
