Didn’t fit
This adaptor did not fit my portable AC.

Great fit & NO Melting so far!
I was nervous to buy due to bad reviews, but the product description said the design had been "updated" when I purchased. This is the only part I could find that fit my Hisense portable ac (and it fits perfectly!). We haven't had a heavily hot day yet but it has been working great so far! Its been used for a few weeks now and has been used for several hours consecutively during the hottest part of the day at least a few timss. No melting or warping as other have mentioned. Yay!

Make Sure
Upon purchasing the item, I waited months before using my LG Portable AC. The size is correct, but the tabs are reversed and will not fit my unit.

Will fit Hisense with modification
I knew this wouldn't fit my Hisense AC when I ordered it but it was easily modified to work well. All you need is a dremel tool with a cut off wheel to remove the "ears" from the two sides. Then it slides in easily and seals well. I didn't mind this minor issue as it saved me money.
