How many milligrams of xylitol in each lollipop?

There is a minimal amount of xylitol in Zollipops. The number of milligrams of xylitol is not as important to the efficacy, as the exposure of the ingredients in the oral cavity. Many studies on xylitol were done in conjunction with ingredient suppliers, which included more ingredient to extend exposure time by based on the form provided to study participants. Also, as you may know, ingesting too much xylitol can cause gastric distress. We currently have 2 versions of Zollipops in the market. The latest version of Zollipops does not contain xylitol. And, our former version contained primarily erythritol, and a small amount of xylitol. In a NIH funded study with one of the premier Pediatric Dentistry schools in America specific to Zollipops containing only erythritol. The study revealed several important findings: 1. Total bacteria in the mouth was reduced with Zollipops 2. Streptococcus mutans bacteria (that can cause caries) was reduced with Zollipops, and 3. No contraindications were reported. (That is, no tummy troubles.) Also, there are several studies showing that erythritol is superior to xylitol in regards to oral health benefits, which is consistent with the findings in our study. Additionally, erythritol is safe for dogs, even with chronic consumption and in larger amounts. And for many of our customers the safety and health of their furry friends, is very important.
