Perfect for Our Needs
Bought this after reading lots of of google reviews and because it was non-toxic. A small rice cooker was all we needed. Nice design and easy to use. We've made white and brown rice so far. It was perfect. Will try buckwheat and black rice. Perfect for no hassle rice/grain prep. First time I made rice I was distracted and poured water and rice into the outer heating section, not the bowl! Ack! Quickly dumped it out and then let dry for 24 hours. It took some gentle shaking but I managed to get it all out. Made rice no problem.

Space saver, zero mess
For 2 cup version, space saver. Zero mess. Intuitive, user friendly. Decent price. Tried with jasmine rice. The tiny pot made enough for 1-2 meals. Maybe 3-4 if you eat small portions. One annoying thing: see video. The keep warm function does not have auto stop. It was on for 9+ hours.1. Compact Size: see photos with a roll of paper towel. Perfect for kitchenette.2. Easy cleaning: spout barely spewed out water, most excess water remained in the canal area (when you open) without leaking to other parts. Inside top can easily remove.3. Normal taste: Cooked rice texture/flavour was similar to the basic rice cookers with the glass top.4. Buttons: buttons are touch, not tactical (said by another reviewer). They worked perfectly for me (not sure if it will break over time). love the big button to open.5. Cooking ability: I only tried white rice and works fine. (In the past I bought fancy rice cookers about $200-300 range, made in Japan and Korea but I ended up only using start end buttons to cook white rice and didn’t bother with the other buttons).

Cost Effective & Easy To Use
This has been an affordable and effective cooker. I cook brown rice in it for about 80 mins and it does the job with no problems. It will keep the rice warm after it finishes the timed cooking so no need to monitor the timer. It's easy to use.

My first rice cooker
After getting tired of unevenly cooked rice in my older pots, I decided to finally buy one of these. It does the job. If you already have a pressure cooker, like an instapot, then you can use that if you have a larger family to cook for. In my case the rice is mainly for me so my pressure cooker was just too big.It is not too expensive so it's okay to splurge on this. The only negatives are that the base cooking time is a few minutes too long for how I like my rice. The other negative is it doesn't really "seal" like a pressure cooker. The first time I used it the steam came out of the top, condensed, and basically made a puddle on my counter. I put a paper towel over the top now to absorb any moisture. Seems counter intuitive that all this steam escapes, but I have learned to deal with it. Also, because of the escaping steam it is easy to burn your hand so keep kids away and don't wait to cover the hole if you choose to do so.

Easy to use!
It’s easy to use. Great for one or two people. It’s small and easy to store. Also comes with everything you need. Takes about 25 minutes to cook rice. Very good quality for the price.

Love it - but the durability is questionable and customer service is horrid
I love this rice cooker - it is the perfect size and easy to use; but it has not lasted. I bought it in January - so just about three months ago. I am very careful in my use and cleaning. I only use the plastic "spoon" they provide. I use a dishcloth, and then put it in the dishwasher. But, even with my careful approach, the inside is already chipping and the non-stick is compromised. There doesn't seem to be any way to order a replacement container. So I am disappointed, to say the least. I really dislike the concept of needing to buy a whole new cooker, just because the container has started to chip.*Added after working with customer service* I contacted customer service to see if I could purchase a replacement inner container. Instead of answering that question they made me go through the warranty claim process and submit photos. NOTE: I was NOT submitting a warranty claim. I was just trying to find out if I could BUY a replacement container. As I told the agent - I have never worked so hard to try and spend my money on someone's product. Instead I was told the chipping was "normal" and because of the fact it was a ceramic coating, there was no risk to me or potential heath hazard because as they said:"Chipping up to 1 to 2 mm is a perfectly normal occurrence because Ceramic coatings are very hard – i.e. in the same way as Porcelain Ceramics are hard but not very flexible. Secondly, unlike with PTFE coatings, Thermolon does not require any chemical adhesive primer to stick to the pan. Thermolon’s adhesion relies solely on roughening the pan’s surface before the coating is applied, which creates a natural lock and key adhesion.Any imperfections, such as chipping, are considered a reflection of the hardness of Ceramic coatings and not having to rely on chemicals for adhesion. As the product remains perfectly safe for use if it chips, it does not require a replacement. In fact, the hardness of the coating is one of its strengths because it will be less prone to scratching during daily use.The great thing is that our products do not contain any PTFE or other PFAS, and they are free of Lead and Cadmium."I pointed out I was in manufacturing myself and I knew spin when I saw it, and once again asked if I could purchase a replacement container. Only after asking the same question in three emails did the company finally say, no they did not sell replacement parts. If the company can't answer a straightforward question or stand behind their products by offering replacement parts, then don't waste your money with that Company. I wish I had know all this before I bought the product. So, I am writing a long review to help others make a truly informed decision.

Obsessed with this cooker!
Love this rice cooker! It’s so easy to use, since you get the measurements down. I WISH WISH there was an easier way to do the water levels in the main chamber. But my brown rice and steel cut oats come out *perfectly* in this thing. The non-stick coating is amazing. It makes cleanup a breeze. Great value for what you get. Totally idiot proof!
