I had been looking for a new pair of binoculars to get before birding season starts in our area and was planning on getting a pair of Leupold’s and these popped up on Amazon, I’d never heard of them. Did some research on some review sites, and these where consistently getting great reviews, top 5’s, for the price range. So with the lifetime warranty in figured I’d give them a try. Just got them yesterday and for me, these binoculars are fantastic, I’m amazed at the clear crisp images. My friend has a pair of Swarovski that cost over $4000.00, and as far as daytime clarity these Scoopx are just as clear at a fraction of the price. I don’t know how the Leupold’s would have been, but I can’t imagine they could have been better then these.I figured the phone adapter would be a little cheesy and gimmicky, but it’s very high quality and does an amazing job. The 1st picture that I took using it, is of a downy woodpecker about about 15 ft. away taken thru my picture window. Can’t wait to use it outside.I’ve never used an over the shoulders type harness before, but this is extremely comfortable and with the case attached it gives the binoculars great protection if needed.All in all, at the price I paid, for the quality the the entire package, and the lifetime warranty, I almost feeling guilty, almost that is. I don't believe in spending a ton of money on binoculars but these are, what I consider, fantastic for the price. They have a great feel and grip to them and the glass is great quality. I noticed how well I can see at night if there is some light behind the subject. I use them for bird watching and plane spotting. I wish I would have went with some stronger binoculars though but I live em.

*** Update 08/11/2024 ***We just returned from a trip to Bar Harbor, ME. These binoculars performed well. We enjoyed using them on 2 boat trips to see puffins, seals, cormorants, loons, bald eagles, and many other birds. The Scoopx easily picked up the subjects from the various difficult backgrounds on both land and sea. In other words, the contrast and color rendition works very well.On this trip my mom loaned us her spare pair of Swarovskis, we didn’t fight over them and were equally happy to use either one. That’s saying a lot about these binoculars. The Swarovski are the CL Companion model, so not their best line, but offer great optics in a lightweight compact design. The colors are still slightly better than the Scoopx and same with the sharpness. But the Scoopx feels better in my hands and are very closely matched in performance. I still think they are a great buy and am thinking about getting another pair since my wife and I had to share with our two girls.Definitely think they are 5 star binoculars, and only deducted the 1 star for the strap as mentioned below.*** Original review ***I have used and owned top of the line binoculars and these are pretty good. Definitely not as good as Swarovski and not as good as the premium line of Zeiss, but way better than most $300-$400 binoculars. I would place these in the $500+ range.What I like, they are easy to hold, focus well, are sharp, bright, and maintain good color rendering. I have not noticed much fringing or chromatic aberration. They seem to be water resistant as advertised.Why I gave them four stars instead of five, the strap broke while using them at a field hockey game. Lucky, I had the binoculars in my hand when the strap broke, so it did not fall. I did not snag it on anything, I did not tug on it hard, but just lifted the binoculars to my eyes when I felt the strap fall down to my waist.I took these to the Grand Tetons and to Yellowstone and was very thankful I had them. They were really good at viewing bison, moose, elk, bald eagles, and pronghorn. I am happy that the strap did not break on that trip.Like I mentioned above, I use these at my daughter’s field hockey games and it focuses quickly and makes tracking the ball and players much easier than without.If you are wondering why I say they do not equal the quality of the ultra-premium brands, well those brands make the images pop. Bird colors are so vivid and the details of everything you look at are just so sharp. These binoculars do have vivid colors and sharp images, but it is just not the same.I would definitely buy them again. I miss my Zeiss binoculars that got stolen, but these are lighter, smaller, an 1/10th of the cost, and perform about 80-85% of the Zeiss. When I use my Mom’s Swarovskis, well they are just about perfect but are way more expensive and not worth it to me.

I originally purchased binoculars from another company for less money. The reviews were mostly good but not great. Given this was my first time buying binoculars I figured they are all similar.They are not all the same! I returned them because of the poor quality, optics and poor construction.I decided to spend a little more money and get a pair I love to use. These binoculars are AMAZING! and worth every dollar. I highly recommend this product SCOOPX 10x42 Binoculars. They are well constructed, feel good in the hands and the optics are clear bright and easy to use. The bag and all the attachments are quality. This is my first amazon review not because this is the first time I am pleased with a purchase but because this product and service from the company far exceeded my expectations. Thank you Scoopx!

UPDATE AUG 2024: Still have exceptional clarity after several years of extreme cold and heat. They’ve always been inside my van through the summers and winters.I was totally expecting to "get what I paid for", but I'm very happy with my purchase and I recommend them wholeheartedly.It's been over a year since I bought these and they've spent most all their time in my van's center console. They've sat there in the console all winter through the bitter cold and all summer through the extreme heat. The optics are still exceptionally clear and just as "wow!" as the day I got them. Still waterproof and fog free. Would not hesitate to buy them as an awesome gift for someone special (or for myself if I had to do it all over again!).
