Very poor quality film and not easy to fix
I had to removed because it was full of scratch. Not easy to fix it and very horrible locking from outside and inside. Don't waste your money and go for professional with good branded film like 3M

EASIER than you think!!
We were Broken into about 1 month before I decided to ensure that My house was MY HOME and one thing that being broken into does is make you a tad bit paranoid so, I thought if I could see OUT and no one could see IN, I at least had some semblance of a feeling of privacy (security….well that will be under my reviews on Locks, Alarms, Cameras etc…) and THIS product was FAR BEYOND my expectation in many ways. MANY ways.Firstly, I did it alone, all by myself without my husband to help me. Did I NEED help, no. Would it have been nice to have an extra set of hands, sure….for the first window and after that, nope! Once you have this down pat, it is easy as pie (what an odd saying because this was MUCH easier than making a pie!!!).Just like any home repair, upgrade or addition to making your house feel newer…PREP is EVERYTHING. The best advice I received about applying this product was from the person who did my car. Pro advice! He told me to make SURE that everything I cleaned PRIOR to the application was done with a microfibre cloth that did NOT leave ANY LINT. He told me to vacuum every nook and cranny FIRST and then clean the windows including the corners and the inside AND outside really well even though this was only being applied to the INSIDE of the windows. He told me to to that so I could see if there was a SPEC of dust on the inside once it was ready to be applied because when you start to apply it and there is a spec of dust trapped in between the glass and the film….well, if you are like me with a touch of OCD, it WILL make you crazy…so prep prep prep and do it WELL and do it right! The Kit that you can buy separately that comes with an architect knife/blade as well as the felt covered plastic that helps to apply the product as well as smooth out all of the water and bubbles (for me) was a MUST HAVE because my hand are not “strong” they are healing hands so they are fine tuned for delicate and intricate things, not big heavy projects so this was right up my alley. THAT KIT was worth every penny and perhaps you can figure out how to make your own or you have something like it but I have used it over and over and once the felt has gotten thin I just applied a new piece of felt on top of the old one with a glue gun. WORTH IT. The blade does help you to get into the tight corners as well as tuck the tiny corners down into the ledges of a screen door which is what I FIRST used this product for.Our front and back screen doors look like solid glass from top to bottom however, when you lower the top 1/2 of the glass (the centre part is almost seamless) a screen rolls down at the same time. The film did NOT interrupt ANY part of this process at all nor did it get caught up in dropping the top portion of glass to the bottom. The architect blade from the kit DID help to tuck the corners of the film into the glass frame portion on the bottom of the top 1/2 of the glass (photos to follow) so that blade is very helpful as a butter knife or a box cutter is just not as fine as this and I would akin it to about one gauge up from a 10 blade if anyone knows their surgical blades. Stronger and thicker than a 10 blade and not as sharp as you do NOT want it surgically sharp. When prepping the instructions say to use a spray bottle with a tiny bit of soap (at least I recall that they do and if they do not, you do want a literal DROP of dawn or sunlight dish soap into about 450ml of water in a faint mist spray bottle of room temp water.Once you have cut the film as perfect as possible to your measurements ( was told by my Pro to cut it about 1/8” larger and I am glad he told me to do that….here is why) you want to mist the window and then peel off the paper off the backing of the film. Now, if this was peel and stick wallpaper, I would start at the top and stick and then pull the backing off as I smoothed my way down….NO. NOT FOR THIS FILM. In this case, I peeled off the entire backing after I had misted the window it was to go on, then peeled off the backing of the film (THIS is where the FIRST time you do this a second set of hands is helpful but then you will have the hang of it and may not want them in your way afterwards!) then mist the back of the film as well that is going to adhere to the window. Here is why that additional 1/8th of and inch overage was important. When you do line it up at the top of the window and remember I am doing a front glass “screen” door that is Glass top and bottom until you pull the top down to reveal a hidden roll down screen so it is really a 1/2 of a front glass door and this product is MORE than wide enough for this. So, in lining it up at the top, NOTHING is ever exactly “square”….almost NOTHING. I lined it up at the top from the left to the right top corner and ensured that it had adhered well with a brush of my hand. Yes, it help. I then lightly misted the side that I was about to then use that felt trimmed tool that is almost like a slice of bread sized plastic with felt on one end and that fine mist of water gave me some “slip” to move from the centre OUT of the window. Moving from the centre of the window film to the outside allowed me to push out the air bubbles as well as any additional water. HAVE THAT CLEAN MICROFIBRE cloth handy for the excess water. I used the felt “squeegee” to push out the air bubbles and the excess water and it was absolutely PERFECT. It took me about 15-20 minutes for that FIRST one. Now, in comes the blade from that kit…..that overage I was told to cut was well received advice because nothing is ever “square” and sure enough there were areas that did NOT need ANY trimming and some that did even though I would have sworn that the top where I had initially adhered the original piece was “perfect”..no….who am I kidding…..perfection….no, not in anything that has to do with house anything LOL!That blade in that kit was perfect in not just being perfectly pointed and allowing me to get a good angle and grip on where I was cutting but it allowed a perfectly balanced and weighted blade in my hand to trim and tuck any excess that needed to be.For a first timer at doing anything like THIS….I was pretty proud. It was done and now I had 3 more exact “square”‘S to go and I did them in about the time it took to do the first one. (Remember that I had already cleaned and prepped so I was not counting that time as that really does take the longes of anything but it is by far the most important!).Once I had all 4 done, I could see outside and NO ONE could see inside DURING THE DAY TIME. At night, the same would go IF you did not have any lights on INSIDE the house but the sense of safety it gave me to have the main door open and just the glass door closed (and locked of course) was good as my neigbors even asked “What company did I get to do the windows?” As they thought it was a great idea privacy wise. And it IS. And STILL IS.I purchased this in 2021 and it is STILL on my doors to this day. I live in a climate that can go from -40 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius and that does not and has not made any changes in this film. It has not discoloured (The one door faces South and is the hottest side of the house) nor has it wrinkled and shrunk as I have seen some of the lesser quality ones do (My Car film installer Pro even told me that this was a really good quality product for it to have lasted so well and NOT wrinkled or shrunk due to the weather and he is THE Pro. This guy does the local Lambo’s and Bentley’s etc so if they trust him I sure in the heck am to do my Mini Cooper S as well as to give me tips and tricks for my HOUSE Glass Doors!).All in all this product goes beyond belief in the ease of it insofar as application goes as well as how well it has lasted with our 🇨🇦 Weather! It is really fantastic and worth every penny.OH!!! I forgot to mention an incredibly important unknown that I have to share……the HEAT in the Summer as I used to leave the inside door (the huge metal door) open in the Summer for my little Chihuahuas to bask and bake in their wee bed on Sunny Days and they would LOVE it. There is Travertine at the front and back door on the floor so it gets (used to) VERY HOT to the point that we would come in the door and have “indoor” flip flops ready to be put on and now….NOPE…..NO HEATED STONE that was so hot you could quite literally fry an egg on it. NOPE! AND, a couple of very cranky Chihuahua’s who lost their beloved “Sunbeam” and were none too happy about it! So it most definitely has made a difference on our A/C bill in the Summer months (all two of them) but that was a bonus I was NOT aware of or counting on.Of course another bonus is that because no one can SEE IN during the day time, when the glass door is closed and locked, and someone would come to the door they had noooooo idea that there was a VERY VERY LARGE German Shepherd waiting to say “HELLO!” So when they would knock, well, let’s just say that NO ONE made THAT mistake TWICE But it certainly was a LOT OF FUN to watch just how high someone can jump as well as how high of a pitch someone can make when they have the bejeebers scared out of them…..so there is THAT bonus as well. (Hey, in my defence there IS a LARGE SIGN that says “NO SOLICITING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, MY DOG IS HUNGRY.”……A tons of PROS and ZERO “Cons”, quite literally. One of the best purchases I have made and that was in 2021 which then started me on my other addictive hobby which was the Peel and Stick Wallpaper!!!! Some reviews were done by my husband but ALL of them are 5 Stars from this seller. THIS SELLER is incredibly supportive and 100% KNOWS his/her stuff! ANY questions are answered ASAP (unlike me putting this review up after I initially installed it!!!! However I am glad the first one I put up didn’t go through because NOW, you can tell it has been up since 2021 and it is STILL PERFECT!!! I will add photos as soon as it is warm enough to clean the windows LOL!!! OH! Another bonus!!! RAIN, whenever we have had torrential rain storms that have even made it past the area that the door is SUPPOSED to have a tight seal on, which it does not, the rain that does make it INSIDE that barrier, does NOT leave any hard water marks! It actually pools right down and out the bottom. A bonus one would not CHOOSE but a nice one to have nonetheless. You will NOT be disappointed in this product. It is a good one for Privacy, Helping to keep another barrier of heat OUT as well as an all round bonus to having been able to do it MYSELF and save a couple hundred dollars at the LEAST. Super happy and proud of myself (even if this is a LATE review!! Everything happens for a reason!).

RIP off!!
Firstly, I did not receive the product shown in the images.Non-reflective, extremely tinted and no tools were included.Terrible quality, easily creased and the tint will come off and have left residue on the windows.
