Excellent quality!
This is really handy and very well made. Extremely flexible until you tighten the knob, then really solid. I started with 1, now I have 4 of them for various tasks in the studio!

Strong and well made
I'm not sure what I was expecting with this, but it surprised me a bit. It's very solid, made of good materials, and very strong. The entire arm is made of metal, including the tightening rings on the threaded posts. These are plastic on most items I've seen. Very good design and execution.

Strong, sturdy, and versatile.
Strong, sturdy, and versatile. It had a Standard 1/4 inch screw on both ends perfect for mounting Flashlights, Microphones, small LCD Monitors, LED Lights, and other accessories with 1/4 inch screw holes. Two ball heads that can be adjusted 360 degrees to any angle. I would probably not use it for heavy accessories. For $10 you can't go wrong.

The Most Useful Piece of Rigging Gear I Own
For 10 bucks, this is one of the most useful and affordable pieces of rigging gear I own, and if you rig out your mirrorless camera inot a cinema camera, you'll want to have at least one of these in your arsenal (I actually have two). I've used it to rig a field monitor to my FX-3, mount a microphone to my B-camera, rig a GoPro to my main rig for BTS shots, and rig small lights for product shoots. It's well made, versatile and bargain for the price.

Minature attachment arm, solid and easily adjusted
Of build quality seeming unquestionable, it feels overbuilt for its rated weight capacity of 4.4 lbs. Most parts seem aluminum, except for the piewheels' rubberized surfaces and the threaded balls, which seem steel. Yet note that the product is basically miniature. Used fully straight, it extends some 5 & 1/4 inches. Used hinged at a right angle, it extends some 2 & 1/2 inches.Somehow, the knob simultaneously loosens/tightens all thee joints—the serrated hinge and both ball joints—letting one hand move whichever device how desired and then the other hand lock this position. Yet meanwhile, since the ball joints' loosening scales to knob loosening, one can loosen them slightly enough to stay in place unless added manual effort repositions one specifically.

Cool little mini arm!
I ordered this adjustable mini magic arm to use with my desktop webcam setup. The all-aluminum arm has a pair of 1/4" screw ends that can each angle 0-90 degrees and rotate in any direction. The ends are joined by a double-ball locking elbow that allows 360 degree rotation. The large red knob tightens or loosens the entire assembly. The whole thing folds up and fits in the palm of my hand. It's strong enough to hold about 4 1/2lb which is enough to hold my camera and smaller lenses but I certainly wouldn't use it with the big lenses.I ended up not needing the arm for my webcam but the 1/4" ends attach to a wide variety of camera accessories so this won't go to waste. I'm planning on pairing it with my travel clamp setup for an incredibly versatile portable mounting solution.

Heavy duty but stiff...
Last year of so I have been getting in to photography, mainly just to preserve family memories. So I've been picking up parts and pieces and this is a very handy gadget. First impressions, this is VERY well made and VERY heavy duty. It is just outstanding. This is so versatile as well, it can be moved into so many different positions. I also like that the middle swivel has teeth on both sides, so once you tighten up the wing nut, this is not going anywhere. Also has a nice large wing nut making it easy to tighten up.I do find the 1/4" end to be quite stiff, they take some muscle to move. Would be nice if it was not as tight. Although, there is no way to "tighten" the joint, so I am concerned, that over time this might get too loose just from wear? I could be wrong, just a thought.Overall, it's a fantastic "magic" arm, the price is outstanding, would gladly recommend.

Bit to flexible
I purchased this arm to mount a GoPro to the interior of my car but found the arm even when locked off to be a bit to wobbly for the job when the car is on the move. I will find other uses for it.

Point it anywhere
It's a magic arm, either you know or you don't. BUT. Combine this with the Neewer webcam arm by loosening the tip of the webcam arm and removing the 1/4 20 stem. Then take the nut off one end of the magic arm and put it in the hole where the 1/4 20 stem was on the webcam arm. Tighten that all the way. Then attach your webcam to the other end of the magic arm and now you can point the cam in any direction and lock it in place.

Vraiment magique !
