Q: Are there any AC adapters for this d-tap/p-tap style connector or must it be run from battery? I haven't been able to find the correct plug type.

Hello, It is highly recommended that you only use p-tap sources like v-mount or gold mount batteries as the input tolerance for this power supply baseplate is very specific at 13-17v. A p-tap source lands in the middle of this range, so using AC power risks damaging the unit or the gimbal it connects to even more so. Tilta

Q: How is the weight supported by bracket?

If by bracket you are referring to the addition support arm on the side, the “bracket” bolts onto the base, and slides over the NATO attachment on the side of the RS2. I rarely use this, as it’s really designed for when you attaching the gimbal and base to a car.

Q: Can it wor with rs2? or rs3/rsc 2 only?

It works on both. I have used the Tilta baseplate on both the RS2 and the new RS3.

Q: What battery would be recommend for the ronin rs 2. With this adapter? We are trying to set up for cable camera

With this device, you get the 2-pin cable with a D-Tap at the end. You can attach the D-Tap to a large assortment of batteries, such as v-mount and gold-mount, or the PowerBase Edge. The PowerBase edge is popular for use with the BlackMagic cameras (4K, 6k, etc) and I’ve seen it work on DSLRs as well, so you can simultaneously charge your Gimbal and Camera.
