Okay I'm seeing a lot of conflicting reviews and thought I'd try give and accurate description of what this guy is good for.This is definitely a personal fan. A desk fan for sure. It's designed to keep the immediate area cool. It will not cool a room.I have it purched on the edge of my bed and I love it. In the heatwave we have just had it's been amazing. Keeps me cool until it silently turns off at the when the timer is up.This is a cheap solution for a little bit of cooling.Tips.1. Use partially frozen water for best results from the mist.2. Don't fill past the max line. This stops the fogging function working properly.3. Hold the fogging button in to turn off the blue backlight.I Also taped up the other little leds with electrical tape to kill the light it puts out.Overall all a great little personal ac unit.

This arrived today, please go by the bad reviews and avoid, bought this for my baby’s room as he’s struggling and it’s rubbish, there’s very little ‘wind’ you can’t feel anything unless you less than a foot away from it directly in its line and it doesn’t cool the room down at all with ice, with ice and water or water alone. Really disappointed in the product, although a neat design unless your extremely close to it you won’t feel the benefit. Would suggest paying the higher price and opting for a proper one that’ll do the job intended. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

It's ok I guess, bit overpriced for a fan ( the fogging function is useless) I have put in chilled water straight from the fridge and this made no difference to the air temperature coming out. The water unit at the front is awkward to pull out. Wanted to get an upgrade on my Nexfan ( which I've had for 4+ years now) but apart from the rotating it's nowhere near as good - shame really as this wasn't a cheap buy!

I brought two if these, one for each of my son's gaming set ups.Works well to keep them cool when ice is added to the tray.It isn't the strongest fan and it doesn't cool down a room.For personal use in close contact this works just fine.My youngest son has his set up in our lounge and I can't hear the fan.Eldest son is also happy that it fits nicely on his gaming desk.Bit pricey for what it is though.

It's not an air conditioner, and is very clear that it isn't trying to be, but it's a lot better than a fan, and has helped a ton to keep me cool over the most recent heatwave. The fogging feature works by atomising water from a tank in the bottom half that you fill up - the cooler the better! I put ice in the water and it works brilliantly. Feels amazing blowing on your face

You need to be within 3 feet to feel any real benefit and even then it's not particularly cooling, even with ice cubes in the water. Ok on a desk next right next to you as it's not cold enough to be a problem. You do have to watch the MAX fill line as anywhere near it stops the mist function from working. This is explained in the instructions and the back light does go red to show there's a problem. I bought another 'Personal Air Cooler' for the same kind of money and it's a lot better at blowing air and mist that is actually chilled.

Please don’t be fooled by the positive reviews! This is a useless & disappointing product. After reading the reviews I lowered my expectations considerably & was hoping for a small fan to put by my bed to provide a little relief for the current heatwave in the UK. It does NOTHING even with water/ice & set to the highest setting. You can only feel something if you hold the fan directly to your face with the vents touching your cheek & even that is a very weak stream of barely cold air. The only thing this has done is contribute to the heat by having it plugged in

Bought this when the weather got much better and the UK had it's 4 days of summer!Saw the mixed reviews but as it was cheap and knew the weather wouldn't last long, I went with it.From opening the box, it was up and running in 1 minute and is very good quality, not massively loud on the lower settings and the misting feature works very well. I often put ice in the water tray and the smell-medium sized room is cooled very quickly and I've seen less dust in my office since using this too.I pretty much leave this on over night, have done for several weeks now and it's improved the temperature (even in cooler weather) much more!10/10!
