its no better quality than the equivalent Stanley for about a third ...
Don't buy this, its no better quality than the equivalent Stanley for about a third of the price. Threads not machined well in the chuck. Very cluncky and flimsy at the same time. Crap

Very well made! Very smooth. Shifts very well from clockwise to counter clockwise. Seems to be a very quality tool. I bored holes in a 4” hardwood workbench like butter(quality bits obviously did a major part in that) but I’d recommend this tool to anyone

Same quality of tools that were made before 1960s.
This bit brace is very high quality. Heavy duty. Only one i found with high quality. I use it with a hex bit to open a metal gate when power is lost.
