The mask has the strap holders as part of the framing which is what I was looking for specifically. Other full face masks have the straps holding on to some cheap rubber tab that breaks easily. I don’t know how strong the strap holder will be on this mask but I know it’s better than the alternative. The mask works excellent. when I inhale I can feel it seal tight around my face and the filters fit with no issues. I don’t think there is another full face mask on Amazon that can beat this one for the price.

Great product

I like this respirator. I use it when cutting wood, sanding wood, routing wood, and finishing wood. I wore these to lacquer a small spice rack I made for my daughter, and had no intrusion into the mask of the significant odor of lacquer. The smell inside the mask was completely neutral, a real plus. I had the same result next day, using some polyurethane. I kind of miss the smell of fresh cut wood in my shop, but I don't miss the coughing and sneezing that used to follow. I bought more cartridges and cotton filters; I'll be using this tool for a while. Two annoying 'features'; I wear eyeglasses which get shoved up from the nose piece. Not a deal killer, but not my favorite. Second, the catch for the lower elastic band that you buckle behind your neck keeps coming apart. I'm gonna sew it, but shouldn't have to.

I do a lot of spray painting and clear coating and was needing something. I looked at several different kinds and brands before choosing this. Let me tell you, I personally am very pleased with this product. I can't believe what a difference it made. My breathing is easy in this and I smell no fumes while I have this on. Not crazy about the head piece of it, but I can't really complain. Considering it does what it should. This even comes with extra filters which is a nice touch. Just remember to adjust the straps so it fits snug around your nose and chin. I highly recommend this.

Reusable Half Facepiece Cover Set with Safety Goggles and FiltersI'm just now getting into resin work and dice-making, and the one thing you absolutely must have is a mask and filter set like this. The goggles included here are important for eye protection from the fumes and from flying debris (sometimes there's little pieces that need to be trimmed off and they can go flying), and these goggles are really comfortable and don't fog up. But the really essential thing here is the respirator mask. You have to have a respirator mask to protect yourself from toxic resin fumes. The mask fits flush to the skin (and is surprisingly comfortable!) and the air you breathe in is fed through the filters on the sides. This pack comes with 8 filters, and it's a good idea to write down when you last changed them so you can cycle them with regularity.One word of caution with this set: you see those 3 prongs on the "snap-in design" in the product pictures? The plastic on those is very soft and I would not recommend "snapping" the filter box into place. Just visually line the 3 prongs with the corresponding 3 holes, gently lay the filter box flush against the valve (instead of "snapping" it on), and turn to secure it in place. No snap needed, and you don't have to risk breaking one of the prongs.Overall, this respiratory mask and goggles are great. I'm planning to buy another set for my spouse so that he can work with the resin with me. The mask is comfortable (shockingly to me! I did not expect it to be!), the bit that slips over the head to hold it steady is also comfortable, and the part that secures behind my neck is easy to operate. Googles are great and worth the $20 price alone (actually 10 but w/ship & inflat, profit & deliver 20 is good). The face mask is the same one I bought 6 months ago that already has a broken strap connector. It will accept my filters I use to work with hydrochloric & sulfuric acids. The photo is deceptive as the two cannot be used together as shown. The mask covers the nose all the way to the eyebrows so the bottom of the goggles are mid eye. Pulled down over the mask goggles are held out off the face slightly but are still better than nothing for splash protection. Seems someone bundled two separate items together and sold as a kit. Not actually designed to be worn together and is a shame. At this point in time technology should be able to produce a product to work together.
