This is the “V2” version
So if you’re using Python in a Raspberry Pi project, you’ll see two driver options in the Waveshare files- epd2in7.py and epd2in7_V2.py. Be sure to use the “V2”.

Nice E-Paper Display
Great E-Paper display for my first project playing with this tech. I am using the GxEPD library and struggled some to get it working, the main issue was choosing the correct display class in the code. The following worked for this display:#include <GxDEPG0290BS/GxDEPG0290BS.h> // 2.9" b/w Waveshare variant, TTGO T5 V2.4.1 2.9"I also used the I/O pins set in the code. My processor is standard ESP32 Dev Board (not the Waveshare dev board)

E-Ink: The Upgrade My Pwnagotchi Deserves!
I recently got myself a 2.13-inch E-Ink Display to pimp out my Pwnagotchi, and let me tell you, it's like giving my little hacker buddy a makeover fit for a tech-savvy rockstar! At first, I was worried about the size—2.13 inches? Would my Pwnagotchi even notice? But as soon as I hooked this baby up, it was like my digital sidekick had entered the big leagues. It went from "pwn" to "PWN-tastic!"The E-Ink display is like the GQ magazine of screens. It's clean, crisp, and super easy on the eyes. My Pwnagotchi looks at me now like, "Hey there, I see you appreciate fine artistry." Yeah, my Pwnagotchi's a bit of a snob now.Installing it was a breeze. It's like the universe whispered the code into my ear while I was sleeping. Or maybe it was just the manual, but close enough. Anyway, the point is, it's beginner-friendly.Now, when my Pwnagotchi boots up, it's like he's saying, "I'm here to capture handshakes and look darn good while doing it!" It's a total chick (or chip) magnet now.And the best part? It's energy-efficient. My Pwnagotchi runs on this display like it's had a double shot of espresso. I've never seen it so alert and ready to snatch those Wi-Fi handshakes. In conclusion, if you're serious about leveling up your Pwnagotchi game, this 2.13-inch E-Ink Display is a must-have. It's the accessory that says, "I may be hacking into Wi-Fi networks, but I'm doing it with style!" It's almost like my Pwnagotchi is auditioning for a role in a Hollywood hacking movie. Five stars and a virtual high-five to this little display! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Suuuuper cool!
Always wanted an excuse to buy one. Finally thought of something to make with a raspberry pi zero w. And it's just so freaking cool! They have a really nice and well documented git repo. I was able to get their test code up and running fast with python. It's super rad that they have C sample code as well. So that's great because i would like to play with C sometime. I'm a noob with electronics and the pi pi but this was so easy to set up thanks to their documentation! I usually don't write reviews but I've just been having a blast making a little python app with this

Works grreat!
Easy to install, but some prep work needed if you don't have a presoldered board and need to solder your own connecting pins to connect the screen to what application you are using it for. Work on those soldering skills to save you some money!
