I wanted a Reese
I wanted a brand I trust. When I looked for a new ball and ball mount, there were a couple that were cheaper. But I didn't want to trust my cargo (horses) to a brand I didn't know--so I went with Reese!

Heavy at the end
Heavy duty has a lot of weight where the ball hitches are so as far as even distribution all the pressure is where the pin is . A little too much for a quarter ton

Very versatile
I keep this hitch in my cargo storage in the SUV. In reviews I had read prior to buying this hitch, people complained about rust, etc. If I am not using it, I just store it. It will last much longer. I have pulled different ball sized trailers with it & it has done great each time! I mostly pull a flatbed mower trailer with it, but I did pull a camper back from 600 miles away. Has worked great each time! Being a 3 in one, gives you the versatility of pulling different trailers, using the same hitch. Don't have to worry about lost hitch, having to find the hitch, or have to go buy the appropriate one.
