Finally gave in & bought this item for wet weather stewarding at equestrian events. Feel it’s quite pricey but it really is a huge help & does its job well. Black fold in sides bit of a nuisance concealing paperwork when closed tho..

Very much like the original weatherwriter with the exception of not having the external spring clip lever to operate the clip inside the clipboard. This makes it a bit awkward getting paper in and out, especially if having to change sheets quickly. Would have had 5 stars if that had been included as well.

Very good product for anyone doing paperwork outdoors. Folds up with papers inside and has carrying handles so acts as a briefcase as well.I use it for match sheets at hockey matches, rain and pitch watering systems used to always be a headache when trying to keep the sheets dry and fill them in at the same time, but not anymore thanks to this excellent product!

Well suited for the purpose. Excellent product design and fits A3 paper perfectly. However the back board seems to be convexed and it's made of thin and flimsy material. Especially for the price I paid expected better.....UPDATE: Seller contacted me shortly after posting the review. Arranged for replacement and provided prepaid envelope for the return of the old one. Excellent customer service..
