My husband was in a rehabilitation center due to a fall and one of the concerns before he could come home he had to be able to get into our van the safest way without falling.They put this on my front cloth passenger seat as to help it make it easier for him to maneuver on and turn onto his seat.We’ve used thick garbage bags before and there’s no comparison to using this item as it’s perfect!Also, if my hubby needs more assistance to slide over onto his seat, this item makes it so easily to pull from the other side as then he can adjust even more on the seat if needed.

This item has been a bonanza! I was unable to turn my husband in his bed any longer, but now I can move him with ease. It literally made all the difference. I'm so glad someone suggested it to me. Such a small price for the daily help it is, several times per day. We have a low air loss mattress for my husband's hospital bed, so we cannot use anything thick under his body so as not to defeat the purpose of the alternating pressure to prevent skin breakdown. This is thin and doesn't cause a problem. I'm so happy with this Slide Sheet, and think everyone should have one for this purpose. I used to use a black garbage bag that was slippery and quite a help, but this beats anything! I wasn't aware it existed, but now I'm passing the word whenever possible.

I bought the larger slide sheet so I could move my 200 lb. husband up to the head of the bed. The sheet worked great!! It didn't take much effort to slide him up by myself. However, the sheet slides him back down just as easily when the head of the bed is raised to sit him up. He slid down the bed even more than normal so eating with the hospital bed table was not possible. If you use the sheet to slide someone side to side, it might be perfect, but I don't recommend it for sliding someone up the bed.

Best thing for getting someone in & out of bed.

Helps the caregiver more easily move the patient into the proper place in bed. My husband also uses it to assist him in transferring from bed to chair and back.
