Q: has anyone tried these in a golf cart to replace the halogen headlight bulb?

Installed onto a Club Car Carryall DS. Floods a wide white pattern at 10-20'. Fails to project light down the road beyond 20' like a stock headlight bulb. Unsafe for driving on a road at nigh, not headlight bulbs. . I use Carryall as a work vehicle, driving at slow speeds, and the bulbs are OK for that and lighting work areas and save my batteries since they use 85% less power. Better than Bevinsee 750LM bulbs I got from eBay.

Q: Will this light shine on to on coming drivers eyes?

No they won't, the yellow color is not that bad for other drivers to see. They will not be blinded by them

They are bright enough if the plug is the same.
