Cream Style Sweetcorn 425g Can by Silk Road

In the US, where cream style corn is readily available, my family and a lot of other people make a recipe called "scalloped corn." (It goes by other names, too.) It tends to be a special occasion side dish. I've had one of the American-sourced Ingredients in my freezer, but needed cream-style corn to make it. I've lived in the UK, happily, for 20 years. I probably haven't had this dish in 12 years or longer. So I decided to push the boat out and buy an expensive tin of the corn and I made my scalloped corn. I enjoyed it very much. The corn was lovely--thick and sweet. I wasn't happy to pay £5.00 for a can of corn, but sometimes needs must! I'm glad I bought it, and I'd do it again!

I bought this as I was desperate & theybditn seen to sell the in high street supermarkets anymore.I liked them, they are good in soup. But would not purchase again for nearly £5 for one normal sized tin, I needed it the next day & couldn’t go to a Chinese shop.It’s Amazon’s pricing I expect not the supplier, forgive me is I’m mistaken.

Costly but glad I bought it

I bought this to make crabmeat and corn soup. I should have just used a can of normal sweetcorn and mashed it a little. Very expensive for what it actually is

Very good for chicken and sweet corn soup with a tin of regular sweetcorn and all the rest of the ingredients but this is outrageous that it £5 a can get real
