Does this unit display CO2 and pm2.5 values?

Yes. The default screen gives CO2 and AQI, which is a composite of several pollutants. If you go into the menu, and choose PM2.5 as well, then that number will appear in parentheses beneath the AQI number. Fred

If I am looking for mold, how will I know if the unit is detecting the mold that I am looking for?

Don’t listen to Amy. It will detect mold like any other particle. It actually alerted us to a mold issue. But as Gian said, you won’t know it’s mold or dust or pollen or any other particle about 1-5 microns. I don’t think this thing detects pm 10 well but dunno. Mainly pm 2.5. The only way to detect mold specifically is to use the kits that you send off to a lab or hire someone to come to your house

What kind of battery does the device require, or is it an internal (non replaceable) battery?

Jokes on me. They don't answer emails but they did send me a replacement unit for my one with the failed battery even though I was a week or two past the one year mark.

Isn't there a weatherproof outdoor sensor accessory? I want to monitor outside, but will not be putting this indoor device outside.

I’m really bummed this does not come with an outdoor sensor. I can’t imagine anyone putting this device outside their home. This is a dealbreaker for me.
