Simple solution for painful problem
My husband has a spot on one foot that causes pain when walking/standing. He was seeing a podiatrist regularly and wearing orthotics prescribed by said podiatrist....since it is a hardening of skin, the podiatrist would regularly “scrape” the area. Needless to say my husband was not a happy camper....so we tried various over the counter pads,etc....Finally one day I saw Zen Toes and gave them a try. That was about a year ago,and my husband has been using them every day since!! They are the perfect size, easy to place, stick well throughout the day(hot here in Florida)and just as easy to remove. The biggest plus is NO MORE PAIN.

They stay on!
I've been buying callus pads in small packages at Target and other drug stores for years. It's gotten more difficult as they seem to be discontinued often, which baffles me. I injured my foot 50 years ago which left a bone mass under the skin on the front little-toe side of the ball of my foot. Like standing on a rock. I have to have cushioning to walk. So, these Zen Toes fit the bill. Some brands I've tried don't have good adhesive and I lose the pad before the end of the day. These STICK! I can wear them two days in a row, even after showering in hot water, and they don't fall off. You can easily peel them off when they've lost the cushion effect. These come in a large quantity, so one box lasts a long while.

Very disappointed.
Dr Scholls- why did you stop making callus cushions?? They lasted for several days- even with showers etc. These survive water- but the top layer sticks to one's socks, and it's back to changing every day. Very disappointed.Update- they have changed-- top layer doesn't stick to socks, but these barely stay on one day. Poor quality.

Helped cure my metatarsalgia
When diagnosed with metatarsalgia my doctor said to wear this type of callus protector on the ball of my foot, just down from my second and third toe. The condition had come on slowly over several months. At first it is intermittent and feels like there is a wrinkle in your sock, then a week or so later that wrinkle feels like a pebble and then over time the pain becomes daily. I tried various pads to give relief but most were ineffective. Have to say I was skeptical with the doctor's suggestion but in November 2019 I bought these. They do not stick to my socks but they do go soggy in the shower. I have worn them daily. About two weeks ago I forgot to put one on after my shower and did not realize until I was going to bed that night . I had not felt any pain. Doc was right. I am going to continue to wear them for a couple of more months and have them on standby in the medicine cabinet. I do feel it when I put it on at first but once I have walked a bit it flattens down a little and I no longer am aware of it - and I have what I call "princess and the pea" feet.

Good things to know
These pads should be called CORN and Callus pads, maybe EVERYTHING pads, as that's what I've been using them for. Corn pads are pretty small, and it can be a challenge to get them right over a corn. Also, because corn pads are small, I don't notice any reduction in pain. But these pads are easy to get the bullseye right over the sore area. The padding is soft and thick, but not so much as to create a problem walking on it. The exposed surface of the pad is smooth and soft. The pads do stick well in shoes, slippers, and wearing to bed, and they remove gently and easily, with no residue left. My parents had thin skin that tore easily, and I would have been confident using these pads on their feet or elsewhere. I would not wear these, or any foot pad, in the shower, as it might cause my foot to slide against the slippery surface of the tub.I love the idea that this company uses individuals of "diverse abilities" as part of their work force. Be sure to read the company info. It makes you feel good to support a company that does good in its community. This is a terrific product. Much better than the ones I've bought at my drugstore. I'm a happy customer, and I'll be back for more.
