Always use a respirator when dealing with any chemical based product. These filter did a nice job keep the fumes out where I did not smell them at all.

Carbon filter meh
The electrostatic filters and plastic covers included in this kit were good , but the filter cartridge felt light in the hand and didn’t last very long before fumes started leaking through . Recommend looking elsewhere for the filter cartridges.
