Oscar Schmidt OS15B Autoharp

I am a kindergarten teacher and wanted an autoharp to sing with my class. I played with this present all day on Christmas! It is beautiful and easy to learn. Works very well, but I had to learn how to tune it.

I gave this as a gift to my 11 year old granddaughter. She tells me that she is enjoying it, but has to have her Dad tune it for her pretty often.

BECAUSE OF HAVING CA, I FELT IT WOULD GOOD THEREPY TO LEARN SOMETHIING TO SHARPEN MYSKILLS.IS THERE SOMEPLACE I CAN GO ON MY COMPUTER THAT WOULD HELP ME?

The case received with the autoharp was not worth usable. Lowest four strings lost correct tuning almost immediately and these strings are very important to proper overall sound production. High C string had been replaced with C-1 string which doubled theC-1 string preceding it an octave lower. Not a good move! I need to have a phone number and an address so I can contact thecompany fhat sent it. It will be difficult to package up, I know. I own a Seiko Chromatic Tuner and I know how to use it. I do want to return it. Please help me.

wanted a cool new instrument to do some recording with, so I purchased this. It is definitely a unique instrument, but wasn't worth the price tag.When pressing down on a fret to play a chord, it clicks loudly. Also, I tuned the autoharp to perfection, but I still could only find two or three chords that sounded good. Returned the instrument and got my money back.

It is a good product but I had to give it only three stars since it was badly out of tune when I received it. Now it does come with a tuning wrench and since I have played autoharp for quite a while, I was able to tune it. However, if you buy this item you had better be prepared to tune it or if you are not then you better find someone who can. There are free tuning apps for iPhone and Android so you don't have to go find a tuning fork.
