I was introduced to this treat many years ago by a coworker from Sweden. He was nice enough to request a couple extra bags for me when his parents would shoot him a care package. I know of nothing that compares to this salty hard treat

Good and salty
I’ve tried a couple, but this one does put a little sting on the tongue. In a good, salty way. Very very firm and chewy. And did I mention salty? Perfect. If you like super weird ****.

Was not thrilled. Didn't taste like licorice, and was covered in salt.

I don't even like licorice, but I enjoy these occasionally.
I got these for my wife after seeing the QI episode that featured them. My wife loves licorice and I hate it, but I actually kind of like these. The licorice flavor of the candies themselves isn't very strong, which is fine by me. Perhaps that's because it's preceded by the salmiakki salt covering that prepares and offsets your palate. I don't know that I could sit and eat a bag, but they're nice occasionally.

Salty jungle screams!
Not for the faint of heart - e.g. not for those who have not enjoyed salty licorice - it has a strong salty flavor. To me they are as refreshing as mints. I just wish the bag was resealable!

I really enjoyed this product, however I think the larger bags have a saltier flavor to them.

Pricey compared to back home but I love this licorice, it’s so good and salty.
