I have used Mack's clear silicone ear plugs as well as these silicone putty brown/flesh colored ones. I know that such preferences are entirely unique to each individual but for some reason these brown ones fit my ears better, stay in place better and best of all, really block noise much better than the clear ones. I like both but these are better. I haven't used the brown putty type as long as the clear so can't say yet how they compare for durability and effectiveness, but for now, for me, both types of Mack's silicone are superior to any other kind of ear plug and this brown type of Mack's ear plugs is excellent.

The original ones work SO much better
I love Mack’s original silicon earplugs, so I was excited to see these. I thought they might be a little more comfortable to sleep with or they’d block out even more noise. They don’t. They don’t work nearly as well as the original ones. I had them in my ears and I went into the kitchen- on the other side of the house- and I could still hear the TV in my bedroom- which was on at a low volume. When I got back to my room, I switched them out for the originals and I could barely even hear the TV at all.

Not easy to mold and falls out the ear
I've used the white/clear type and they were easily moldable and stayed in my ear all night. These were marketed as being the same but the material is a little firmer more like putty whereas the white ones are more like soft wax. The issue is that these hurt my ear since I have to add more pressure to mold them in my ear and they fall out most night they form a firm little ball which does not conform to the ear enough to stay in place. I went back to the clear/white ones.

Good for some noise
I bought this product because my husband snores and I have been having problems sleeping lately due to being pregnant. I previously had a different brand that were similar, but blue in color and slightly more gummy.I have tried these out on numerous nights in an attempt to block out my husband's snoring. First of all, I have had some problems actually getting them to go in my ear canal to properly block most sound. I usually use 1 plug and break it in half because I have found that if I use 1 plug for 1 ear it is too much. I have to roll part of the plug just so and then kind of feed it into my ear before mashing the rest around the opening. This sometimes takes a few attempts to correctly get a good seal.Second, if I can get these in before my husband goes to sleep and then fall asleep myself (which takes 20-30 minutes now that I'm pregnant!) I usually am not awakened by him. However, if he goes to sleep before I can fall asleep, they don't block enough of his snores for me to ignore. That and they seem to vibrate the bed... I even have a fan on near my side of the bed and can still hear him. This probably gives a good indication of how light a sleeper I am, but I think it also has to do with the inability to get completely comfortable while pregnant.Third, after waking up in the morning with these plugs in I don't notice hair stuck in them as much as I did with some of the other silicone brands. They come out easily with no residue that I have noticed left behind.Fourth, I think each plug split in half lasts me about 2-3 weeks of constant use. They tend to get too gummy and break down slightly after a lot of uses, but even still do not seem to leave much residue in my ear.Pros:Reasonable PriceCovers most noiseNo residue left behindHair doesn't stick as muchCons:Doesn't block as much noise as I was hopingCan be difficult to place in ear properlyOverall, these are good plugs for most noise, but can be hard to get in the ear correctly.

Very Good Earplugs
I purchased Mack's Snoozers as a replacement for Flents Ear Stopples which went down hill in quality. I have been using these for a few months now, and I am very pleased with both the quality and their effectiveness. They mold to the lining of the ear lobe and form a very good seal to the ear canal against ambient sound. Being a light sleeper, these are perfect for me. I have also found that they last and I can get several uses out of a pair before I have to replace them with a fresh pair, so the 6-count two pack lasts a good while. A fresh pair are a bit sticky to start, but as they absorb some skin oil, the stickiness is decreased, but they still form a very good seal. Thus, they are a very good deal for the money. Highly recommended!

These do not work to drown Noise
These do not work - I used them 3 times now - and used new ones when the first ones didn't work. They do not drown out the snoring and noise AT ALL - I am very disappointed.

Perfect for sleeping
Bought these while I was in a training school for the Navy. I was waking up every hour with the noise happening from roving watchstanders wandering around slamming doors. I tried a couple different pairs of earplugs, and none of them felt good while I was sleeping. They either fell out, or caused me enough pain that I would wake up at night and have to remove them. These earplugs were perfect. They dampen enough noise for me to sleep without waking up through the night, and they don't hurt at all.
