I’ve had these for a while now and FINALLY used them this winter. They are great during snow and ice for walking my dog. They really do help you grip the snow and ice and help keep you from falling on your rear. I put them on an old pair on sketchers so I wouldn’t have to keep taking them off and on. Highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

I moved to the mid west over 20 years ago. For the past 15 years, people have been telling me to purchase ice cleats. I never did. I can't tell you how many times I fell on the dang ice! Well, this year, I knew i would be walking more in the city, so I purchased a pair. They are easy to go on and take off your shoes/boots. It took a minute for me to feel comfortable in them and not feel like I would fall on the ice! 100% happy I finally bought a pair of ice cleats! I can walk slow, or fast, and feel confident that I will not slip or fall! Walking on dry pavement or concrete is not comfortable though. I feel like I am going to break the tips! This brand so far is very durable! I wear a size 9 bearclaw boot, and the Large fits perfectly. I also bought an XL because I thought the large wasn't the right fit, because when I walk, the position of the heel cleats are a little uncomfortable for me (I have planters fasciitis), but the XL would slide off on one of my boots--that being said, the material on the one was a little stretched out in the width. But, I kept them for a back up pair.

I’m only giving this a 4 star rating due to the fact that I ordered the size Large for my size 10 boots. However, the boots I wanted to use them on were my Lacrosse knee boots. The large barely fit and after a couple steps, both cleats came off. I’m sure they’ll fit better on my Danner boots as those are also size 10, but overall smaller in size. So if you’re looking for these to go over knee boots and you’re at or near the max size for the cleat, I’d go up to the next size. The brief time I was able to walk with them on, they felt great as we were ice fishing in WI on a lake with minimal-no snow. I loved they also have cleats in the heal. Makes you feel more comfortable in those conditions.

I have a backyard made up of about 1/2 acre of sloping hills. Climbing these over the years with work boots, tennis shoes, or even in bare feet, I would slip down while using a weed wacker or just playing in the dirt. These cleats have made it easier for me to scale the hill and to stay put while working with minimal risk of slipping. Would like it if the cleats were a little longer for even greater stability but these work well. Thank you. Gordon
