No more awkward charging!
I’ve only had this solar panel for a few days, but so far I’m impressed.Installation was super easy. I used a third party gutter mount to mount the panel to a deck railing near my camera, and once I chose the correct adapters (included with the panel) for my 3C camera. It was simple plug and play for the hardware, then change the charge method for that camera in the app to “solar panel” and it’s done.Performance seems to be quite good. I purposely didn’t charge my camera before installing the panel, because I wanted to see how well it would charge in addition to my daily usage in the “optimal battery life” setting. I’m happy to report that it’s done well in my test. It’s been a mix of sun and overcast, and my camera has gone from 34% to 64% in three days. Not bad IMO since I live in a townhouse community where there is a decent amount of traffic in front of my driveway, which is where the camera/panel is pointed. As far as the panel itself goes, it’s nice that it has a built in cord wrap, the fairly long cord should allow for installation in just about any situation and has a standard micro-usb connector. Adapters for pretty much any eufy camera (even usb-c versions) are included for a weather resistant fit. I shouldn’t have to worry about battery life anymore since it has output my daily usage +10% battery so far, so no more awkward charging with an extension cord or battery pack and climbing on a stepladder. If you have outdoor eufy cameras and a decent view of the sun, this panel is a great way to harness free solar energy to keep your cameras charged and avoid the hassle of charging cameras in areas that aren’t easily accessible.

EufyCam Solar Panel Works great With EufyCam 3
I installed a Eufycam 3 with the integral solar panel 4 months ago. The necessary location is not optimal for sun exposure. Even here, in south Florida, it was barely able to maintain 91% or so charge with almost no use of the integrated spotlight or even active monitoring. I am certain the charge would have continuously declined if I made any consequential use of the camera and its features. I was very hesitant to buy this solar panel because it strongly appears intended for previous camera models and only force adapted to this much newer camera. Nevertheless, I installed it last week and almost immediately the camera now seems to easily maintain a 100% charge. Although the panel is only a few feet away from the camera, it gets significantly longer and better exposure to the sun. I also do not know, because Eufy is annoyingly vague about this, if the internal battery is now fully dependent on the external solar panel or now both the integrated panel and external panel both contribute energy to charge the battery. Nevertheless, it appears to work great in spite of my fears that this panel was just a Eufy make do solution with an older product. I also do not know yet how truly water tight this solar panel is but to see good sun it is necessarily directly exposed to any rain. The heavy rains associated with the Florida summer afternoon thunder storms are now beginning to start so I am hoping it is indeed watertight.

Even w/out direct sun, slowly but surely to 100%
I've been using this for 3 months now, and figured that's enough time for a fair idea of performance.Full disclosure, I purchased this knowing full well that our site is not ideal, but just hoped it would at least slow the drain and improve the life of the battery between charges. Our camera is mounted at the front of our house. There's a dog park up the street and lots of dogs walking their humans pass by. The camera picks up street traffic, the bus and sidewalk activity. Very busy. The battery life that's advertised as one year, was in actuality just a little over a month for us. I know I could lower sensitivity and add block zones, but that kind of defeats the purpose of having a security camera, right?Unfortunately, the camera is also mounted in a location that is very difficult to access without a ladder and needing to enlist someone to help hold the ladder for me.Another unfortunate element, is that it's mounted on the north side of our home which does not receive any direct sunlight. It's not in the shade, and it does receive indirect light all day long, but never receives actual full direct sunlight.I ordered this with the hope that best case scenario, it would charge with indirect light - - - at the very least, that it would at least slow the battery drain. For the first several late-winter weeks, it did just that. It slowed the battery drain so it only dropped about 1% a day.Occasionally, it would even add a little charge to the battery too. Extrapolating this calculation to 1% drain a day, I surmised that worst case scenario, I would now only need to charge the camera every 100 days instead of the prior 1 month without the solar panel.I installed the panel on Jan 24th. Charge was 100% at that time. In Feb the battery did not charge, but the drain was slowed and it was at 74% in mid March. Recently in late March the battery level has actually managed to either stay steady and often even increased a percent every couple of days. On April 25, the charge reached 100%. It is now late June and the level has never dropped below 100%. Looking at how the sun has moved in the sky, the panel is sitting in full direct sun for several hours a day.I will assume it will stay strong through the summer months, then drop to just a slow drain through Fall and Winter again. If it again, just slows the drain as the days get shorter later in the year, that's still definitely better than it was without the solar panel so I'm definitely happy and very satisfied.Whatever the case, if it keeps me off a ladder to take down and manually charge, I am over the moon for this product.

Works great and customer service is very helpful
Bought these in June. Worked great till one recently stopped charging camera. I thought it was blocked by vegetation but, discovered it had ended up leaking some water inside. Called Eufy and was able to get a replacement underway in about 20 min!!I like all their systems and have them at 2 properties and they have been very reliable. Was very impressed with customer service person Ashley, also.

Quality is very good, charging performance appears to be excellent
Super easy to install - I used the band (sold separately) that wraps around a pole. The panel itself is compact and is hidden behind the pole. The location has full sun so I don't know how it would perform in shade. So far it's keeping the camera battery charged to 100%. Considering it keeps me off a ladder it's sweet deal
