These do the job and have held up nicely after a few years. I used the clip with a ball cap and the light never fell off during long jogs. The battery life read out is convenient and the unit will recharge from empty in less than an hour. The standout feature is the ability to move the lamp up and down on the housing. Not only does this help in getting the right throw but it also allows the individual wearing the light to illuminate their body to some degree, increasing visibility. Sure enough the motion sensing works great which is an indispensable feature during colder months what with heavy gloves etc. The build is not of a high quality but that didn't diminish from the suburban functionality whatsoever. I dropped one of these once and it broke apart but easily snapped together. I can't recommend these for backpacking or camping because of the low quality build. Perhaps they're good for some spares while enjoying the outdoors. I used these for jogs around the neighborhood. These are a great value and I can highly recommend.

These lights are great — I have several for use around the farm while doing chores and gardening at night. A Very powerful, hands-free light that can be stepped down or up, plus red lights. USB rechargeable battery is exceptionally long-lasting between charges. It clips nicely onto the brim of my hat and is not heavy nor does it pull my hat down over my face. This was the third time I bought these lights — I have these littered around my place just so i can grab one at various places around the property. I also have one of these in each of my cars in the door pockets just to have in an emergency.

This is a very useful little light! Lightweight and convenient for folks who normally wear a ballcap at camp. Only four stars for two reasons:1) red light is too dim to use. I was stuck turning on white light any time I needed to see, potentially waking up others in camp.2) the motion activated setting is too easy to accidentally turn on. I had a couple of times where the light went from off to bright white when I didn’t want it to… then realized I was in motion activated setting.Totally worth the low price and no regrets getting these. However, I do plan to look for similar lights with better red light visibility.

Got these for walking my dog here in the Midwest where is gets dark early and stays dark late. My dog is 60 lbs strong, so I prefer to have my hands free to manage her. And i need both hands for bagging dog poo cleanly.My favorite part of wearing the light is that the light moves when my head moves, so I forget I'm wearing a flashlight. Is it a stylish look? Probably not. But it's dark anyway. No one can see you. Except drivers. And i promise, they are happy to be able to see you at night.I haven't had to wear it in rain or snow yet, so I can't speak on that yet. But even if they don't work after getting wet, the hands free light is worth buying again.They clip easily to the brim of a ball cap and sit right on top. They don't really seem to weigh the hat down, i.e. it doesn't feel like the brim starts to slowly sink down over my eyes.I can imagine all sorts of scenarios where these hands free lights would be the perfect solution. Changing light bulbs on your car, checking the oil, putting air in your tires. Shoveling snow. Putting up Christmas lights. Anything in the dark where you need to use both hands.There are two light levels. High and low. The lights also tilt, so you change where the light hits.I recommend. Been happy for two weeks with them. Haven't had to recharge them yet. 30 minutes a day use.

Bright lights, long battery life before charging. It is plastic.However, its' clip is sturdy and holds up well with daily use. We would gladly purchase again.

So, these are not the best lights I have used for this price range. They do work well as far a pretty bright, charge pretty quick, and are a nice size and weight for putting on my hat. As for all day work, the clips broke from being on and off so many times. Now, for fishing, emergency , or home jobs, they would be great for this price.

These are very useful lights. One clips onto the bill of your cap to provide light where it is needed while freeing up both hands. I thought the two clip-on lights were sold for a good price.

I use this head lamp cleaning out the barn and it works great. I like it because I can clip it onto my hat. You can adjust the light to point it right where you want it. Battery life is long. I can use it for about 5-6 days before I have to recharge. It also comes in a pack of 2, so I can charge one and use the other.
