Q: Can you turn the machine on from the app?

You need to connect to the machine first in order to use the app. To do so , u need to turn the machine manually. Once connected u can use the app anywhere in the house for the machine stays on.

Q: My brand new z6 came with the smart connect included. after installing the app: "the machine is not supported." what???

The Smart Connect works fine with my Z6. It goes by milliliters rather than ounces.

Q: Does it work with j90 ?

No, it is only compatible with the latest models. Z8 Z6 J6 S8 E8 E6 D6 ENA 8 Professional GIGA X7 Professional (only Cool Control) GIGA W3 Professional X8 WE8

Q: What is correct: from jura suport: it has been known to work up to 30ft. from manual: for operation, the accessory must be no more than 3 m away ????

The manual is the manufacturers’ recommendation. Depending on the environment and other BlueTooth devices in use at the time, it may or may not be possible to operate the Jura from a mobile device at a greater distance.
