I checked the temp with my heat temp gun thing against this and it was darn close!

We’ve been very pleased with this compost thermometer. Easy to use, sturdy, and takes the abuse of a public community garden. We’ve especially been pleased with the large easy to read and understand color-coded face of the thermometer. We’ve used it continuously outdoors for one year, and shows no signs of reduced function or significant wear.

Works good fast reaction on meter, I would recommend an accessory handle to reframe from pushing on dial cage.
