Great little box - needs better instructions
A great little satellite receiver, which has tuned in to all of the uk channels easily - I can imagine anyone not familiar with setting up receivers may find the instructions difficult - BUT it works fine

Not a very good product - avoid!
I bought this thinking it was good value and would be easy to use - how wrong I was! The instructions are next to useless so I went online to see if there were any better ones there. Managed to find some which were a bit more helpful but when tuning in I could not get any uk channels using any of the satellite signal options available. It also downloaded channels that were subscription only even though I had selected the option to exclude these. It picked up 700 channels which were actually the same 20-30 on a loop and mostly foreign. After further investigation online these boxes are apparently aimed at the Republic of Ireland market so are not really suitable for uk. I would suggest paying that little bit extra a go with a branded freesat box.

IView Freesat set top box
I connected this to an old sat dish and to my surprise it’s working perfectly. The HD picture is a 10 and the extra news, music and sports channels are a bonus. I read the manual and deleted all the dross leaving the TV guide sorted and usable. The remote is user friendly. It can record with a USB storage but I have not tried this yet. A good bit of kit worth the money.

Works well for the price.
The receiver works well but it's not the best if you want U.K. Freesat.Reason is, the Freesat channels are scattered among over 700 random channels with such things as 7 alternative BBC1's and about a dozen regional ITV'slt's possible to "favourite" your most watched channels but you can't sort them into an order, so it's still a bit of a compromise.However, dedicated Freesat U.K. boxes are three times the price, so make your choice.
